@Mook I would like to rescind (take back) my calling out of @RomanesEuntDomus

@Geekusoid - Not a vote

Geekusoid - Vote

You can call out and point fingers all you want, nothing is a vote until you put it up in red(not a tag)  Smile

Gotcha.  Thanks for the clarification

Yes but if we don’t there is almost a guarantee we don’t gain information

So we agree that there's next to no difference information-wise, and yet lynching someone has us likely killing a villager.

Again, I want to stress that it's all situational, but to be predisposed to random lynching is sus to me

Also, I'm not completely against geek for his comment, as RED could still be a WW, but not evidence I'd be voting on at the moment

As the warning was read ALOUD to all inhabitants of the village, he still decided to bring an outsider into the village.  He had lipstick on his face, but was also very much covering up his neck.  Could it be hickeys?  Maybe.  Could it be defensive wounds?  Possibly.

I think he at least owes us an explanation of what all was going on last night.

@Mook

Vigorous, passionate love-making of course.

So yeah... It's been proven that I'm not the Escort and not the Alpha and that Gecko wasn't a Wolf, that's about it. I mean theoretically I could still be the Alpha and the wolf kill was prevented by the Escort, while the Hunter made a kill tonight. But this a) would have been a terrible play by the Hunter and b) the flavor text made it pretty clear that this isn't what happened. So what could we draw from this little information so far? It's somewhat interesting that the Escort went for me, because I was sticking my neck out there quite a bit right away by advocating for a lynching, which I would say isn't really an Alpha Wolf kind of play. That role is much more likely to lay low at least for a little bit while maybe one or two of the regular wolves play a bit more aggressively, but if the Escort visits them that doesn't help us at all. So maybe that tells us something about the Escort, did he make a not so great play here, maybe hinting at a newer player as Escort, or could he have had other motives? And yeah I know it probably doesn't help us too much either way, but as I said we don't have much else to go on aside from that at the moment.

Also a quick rule question @Mook, is it gonna be revealed every night now who the Escort followed or was it just a one time thing for some flavor? Because before tonight I assumed that this info wouldn't be made public.

Oh and since I already tagged Mook... Geekusoid gets my lynch vote just for lack of a better option atm and because he tagged me, probably gonna change it again as new information comes in. And if not being one of the earlier votes is always handy in regards to tiebreakers, although I might not have the edge in this case :D

Personally, when I play escort, I go down the list every night to find the alpha, but that's me

Also, agreed on the flavor text, I was surprised that Mook was giving us such blatant tells on what roles are in the game, considering the escort's actions are generally private, and the existence of a jester/exec are generally kept secret

RE: Werewolf Game 9 - notoriousTRON - 03-27-2020

Knowing Geek outside of this game, he just likes to keep things light and goofy. But I can see where the suspicions of him are coming from and he's definitely on my radar.

Side note: Do we have two Alex Pietrangelo renders in this game? Cool.

With 18 people, there are certain roles that are a 'sure thing' so I figured it doesn't really hurt to narrow a couple of them down in order to add a little to the story. "Village wakes up to find a dead Gecko" wasn't really the direction I wanted to take with this Tongue

I liked and appreciated the flavour text fwiw Mook. Also of note, I find it interesting Arty doesn’t want to lynch anyone for the second night in a row. We could theoretically be 2 villagers down and still not know anything meaningful if we don’t push the envelope a little bit today.

I find it interesting that you find it noteworthy.

I feel like it's somewhat uncommon for any individual player to go through many days in a game without voting, at least that's what my experience from ToS tells me.

If being against stabs in the dark is a crime, then call me guilty. I'd rather be two villagers down, rather than three.

That all being said, if you backread, I'm not against lynching geek today, as he has been rather a loose cannon I feel, but the evidence against him is not enough for me to vote.
