But I agree with rest of it, better to stay silent and not make it your job to comment on everything. That is not what I did yesterday in my humble opinion. I joined into conversation and made comment on what I thought plays a part in the Slash situation.

Isnt it funny how I used to call a lot of things soft, but most of the people laughed, change is needed. It's not the year 2012 anymore, internet is changed etc. That is what a lot of people said. But here we are, quite few are now saying I'm soft, I should toughen up. That is good stuff. But I agree once again, thicker skin does not hurt anyone.
I hate when people say "it's not 2012 anymore" like it was justified to be a homophobe or racist just because they didn't face the same consequences as today. All this does is tell me is that people saying this think it'd be alright to be a racist, homophobic piece of shit if they weren't facing consequences online for their actions. What a narcissistic way of thinking.
I agree completely, which is also one of the reasons why I made the TD thread, to question whether that type of behaviour is ok. Apparently it is, now we have moved to other things apparently.

2 lbs Hamburger
1 lb Bacon
1 large Onion
2 large cans Crushed Tomatoes
1 large can Stewed Tomatoes
2 cloves Chopped Garlic
2 cans Chili Beans
2 Tbsp Worcestershire
2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
2 tsp Cumin
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
2-3 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 can Beer

1. Dice bacon, brown in a large pot
till crisp, drain most of grease, dice
onion and fry with bacon till onions
start to brown.
2. Add hamburger, brown with
bacon and onions, drain grease.
3. Add garlic, cook 2 minutes. Add
Worcestershire, hot sauce, red
pepper, cumin, cayenne and chili

That's some good looking Chili. I have been making some jalapeno chicken chili lately, I would have shared the recipe but IRL has been crazy and I haven't kept on top of site drama. I''ll try and add mine in the next shitstorm so we can compare recipes.

another episode ends in the blunderdome

not that the real thunderdome is any better

RE: Aleister Cain - Snoopdogg - 09-25-2020

Probably a little late to the party, but I've been following on and off this thread as its been going on for too long now, but i have a suggestion and i'm not sure if its been already done before or not.

Since we have set a minimum salary system with Tier/TPE echelon. I think we 6 or 7 tiers where a player with a certain amount of TPE can demand the minimum payment or sign with the highest bidder.  Why not break down FA frenzy as follows:

Day 1 & 2 (Tier 1) - All Tier 1 players can now  sign the Tier min or to highest bidder.

Day 3 & 4 (Tier 2) - All Tier 1 & 2 players can now sign the Tier min. or  to highest bidder.

Day5 & 6 (Tier 3)- All Tier 1,2 and 3 players can now sign the Tier min. or  to highest bidder.

And so on, you get the big picture.  This allows for situations like Aleister Cain or any other less desirable player due to different circumstances to lower their asking price like any "NHL player" would when the market is flooded.  This is just a suggestion and would need much more tinkering for it to work.

Its just unfortunate and shame that a player "X" who has top TPE cannot get a job in shl!  Like if nobody would sign Malkin if he would become FA?  All 32 teams would run after him even though the center position would be filled!

RE: Aleister Cain - Rindiee - 09-26-2020

should i keep this thread alive orrrrr
