FHM Tactics Restriction - WannabeFinn - 03-03-2022
Good evening, SHL.
Following extensive discussion amongst the SHL Head Office and SHL Ownership over the last months, we have voted unanimously to place some restrictions on FHM coaching. Within FHM you will not be permitted to set Tactical Tendancies (Sliders) or Tactical Settings on the Unit (Line) or Player tabs of your team's tactics section. You may still set Global tactics.
We believe that this change will assist in reducing the learning curve for aspiring General Managers and Coaches. Limiting the overall available tactics should also help in narrowing the gap that exists between experienced and inexperienced line makers.
This change will come into effect at the start of S64 in the SHL. This announcement does not apply to the SMJHL, IIHF, or WJC.
We will ask that the SHL Fileworkers uncheck all tactics boxes during offseason file work. Throughout the season we will conduct regular checks on all team tactics.
There will be a $1,000,000 fine assessed to the GM's and Coach of any team in violation of these restrictions. Further violations will be dealt with at the discretion of the Head Office.
Additionally, we have made significant updates to the Manual Lines submission sheet. We wanted to make it easier to submit lines, and this sheet will allow those who don't own the FHM game to participate in the coaching/GMing aspect of the league. You are required to make a copy of the sheet and save it to your google drive. When you are done, link the sheet to the lines thread in the GM subforum.
