Team Finland is back!
Back to win IIHF gold again after it did not quite go our way last year.



We have never been a team with massive roster changes, in fact there have been very few changes over the years, mostly from players that have retired, but we have kept a big group of actives along the way and most of those on this year's roster were also on our two medal teams (bronze in S61 and gold in S62). We're not only a team with a ton of experience, we also know each other really well, so that will help us going into this tournament. On top of that our younger players have won several WJC medals as well, so they will bring that experience over to the IIHF level in the upcoming tournaments.

Let's start with our changes first. This year we're going to swap out our only inactive player and replace him with rookie defender Jay O'Neil. We're very excited for our talented young player to get his first taste in IIHF hockey.

Next up we have a returnee. Our winger Jarmo Kekäläinen who had to sit out last year's tournament for personal reasons will make his return and replace last year's rookie Yannick Svoboda.

Additionally we will have our two forwards William Salming and Ville Kurri play on defense again this year and Igor Victory - who has changed from D to F a little while ago - finally gets to play his preferred position, especially being one of our top TPE players.
