Grzegorz needs to play hockey for the same reason he needs to be a goalie - to overcome trauma of Sovietsky tank shell to face in young childhood. Now he is king of pucks, now he catches things with face on purpose, all cheer, and none call him stupid for standing in front of howitzer.

I don't think there's any one single reason that keeps Justin Time going, but a sum of all the little things that have led to this point: The great people, the wins, the losses, and all the work that's gone into getting this far. May as well see it all the way through.

Initially being a hockey player wasn't Ben Jammin's career choice, but he is too deep into his career now to change it and is an important piece of the Chicago syndicate roster. However, there will be a time when he needs to hang up his skates and get back to doing what he does best and that is DJ'ing.

Sven's goal for being a hockey player (and everything else, to be honest) is to be the best Sven. He's triple gold at this point, so I think his legacy is cemented.

Being an SHL player isnt the most important thing in Kane's life, but he wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't an aggregate of reasons including his love of the game as well as his plans for world domination.

Lea Cranberry had a childhood friend, they played on the same teams growing up, went to the same schools, had the same classes. they were inseparable. until one day her friend and their family got into a brutal accident. Cranberry's friend lost their life and Lea made a promise to herself that she will continue and leave everything on the ice at all times in honour of their late friend.

My player needs this life because he really enjoys being insanely competitive. Also he gets paid a butt load of money so that certainly helps.

Zedward finds hockey to be relaxing. Skating isn’t that much work and it’s fun to be in a team environment. Plus Zedward does enjoy bouncing on a trampoline for exercise but otherwise wouldn’t know how to stay in shape

At this point the thing that sustains Kermit Murphy is the unshakeable will of the puppeteer controlling him, pushing him to have a career better than his father which looked unlikely even before he got old

Jack St. Clair doesn't need this life, this life needs him! His star power brings all the fans out just to get a glimpse of him. Or maybe it is the other way around and JSC just craves the attention. Too bad he stinks these days and nobody comes to watch him play.

RE: S72 mPT #4: Reason for the Season - ValorX77 - 08-21-2023

Videl finds hockey to be something that she can unleash her frustrations on, and also to be the toughest son of a gun known to everyone that she ever has come across.

Viktor's uncle helped pave the way to where Viktor is today, though originally it was to help Vik get some friends and bond in a way that doesn't involve a lot of chit chat. His uncle succeeded, and Vkitor has made lifelong friends at every level.

RE: S72 mPT #4: Reason for the Season - KaleSalad - 08-21-2023

Cale needs this in his life as he put all his eggs in this basket. if he had not become a professional ice hockey player he would not have the basic skills to do any other job. He loves and owes everything to the sport

Reasonable athleticism could MAYBE have been converted into another pro sport career, but the love of hockey and drive to devote his entire life to that single game is what really puts Flusso in the position he's in. If he wasn't a hockey player he'd want to work in hockey. Hockey outmatches every sport in his mind.
