Previously hhh recorded stats for the Seattle Argonauts so that we had franchise records but a couple seasons ago he stopped updating it due to other engagements. So as the new co-GM I figured it was my duty to keep it updated and so I have gotten it back up to date with the last three seasons now in there as well. So I want to share some of those results and talk about it a little bit.
So let's see some Seattle Argonauts franchise records: Games Played: Centerman IV 594 Podcalzone 528 Salming 528 Darzins 512 Darrow 512 Sutherland 447 Kane 446 Urquhart 396 Murphy, K. 396 Vanice 380 The top three guys are all new here. All three were still active for Seattle this season. Same goes for Urquhart and Murphy further down. Centerman is the new leader here in this category and it's great to see grok at the top of this. Also cool to see my old player Vanice still in the top ten. No other active player is within a season of reaching the top ten here, but eventually we will see new players reach this too. Goals: Kane 186 Podcalzone 177 Darzins 174 Sutherland 139 Salming 126 Slate 108 Hobbes 101 Pritchard 100 Darrow 87 Vanice 84 Kane still the leader for Seattle even after a few seasons of not being on the team now. But, Podcalzone is inching closer and another season will probably give him the record then! Lots of active guys in the top ten with Salming, Slate, Hobbes and Pritchard all on the team this season. And again cool to see Vanice hanging on barely in the top ten. Assists: Salming 233 Podcalzone 232 Kane 220 Sutherland 214 Darzins 210 Hobbes 199 Centerman IV 197 Darrow 195 Slate 173 Vanice 160 What an insanely close race, as both Salming and Podcalzone broke Kane's record this year, but in the end, Salming is ahead by ONE assist, jumping Podcalzone with 8 more assists this year. An insanely close race! Hobbes, Centerman and Slate also in the top ten already and active still, with Hobbes making a good jump with 56 assists this year. Probably the last season that Vanice is in this top ten, with Kermit Murphy right outside the top ten. Points: Podcalzone 409 Kane 406 Darzins 384 Salming 359 Sutherland 353 Hobbes 300 Slate 281 Darrow 276 Centerman IV 265 Vanice 244 Despite being 2nd in both goals and assists, Podcalzone is now the career franchise leader in points! Well done! With Salming, Hobbes, Slate and Centerman also in the top ten. Pritchard is right outside the top ten too. Power Play Points: Kane 84 Hobbes 72 Sutherland 68 Podcalzone 62 Darzins 56 Murphy, K. 50 Darrow 49 Kanoff 43 Slate 41 Pritchard 38 Kane still in the lead in this category as well, but Hobbes an impressive 2nd already here. Shorthanded Points: Salming 12 Hobbes 9 Darrow 8 Urquhart 6 Centerman IV 5 Zigzagooney 4 Skinner 4 Biscuit 4 Sutherland 3 Podcalzone 3 Ramsbottom 3 I believe shorthanded points seem to really be higher in this sim maybe? Lots of active guys here already and at the top too. Funny to see Ramsbottom on this list, as I am only in my second season. Plus/Minus: Slate 108 Urquhart 104 Centerman IV 103 Hobbes 91 Podcalzone 89 Murphy, K. 69 Fischermann 60 Pritchard 48 Soderberg-Tremblay 38 Cleary 35 What a category. Seattle has done well in recent years and it shows in the Plus Minus, with the top eight players being currently active ones. The top three are just 5 apart and I imagine it will be a close fight going forward. Hits: Podcalzone 1,075 Centerman IV 875 Darrow 874 Salming 774 Biscuit 739 Darzins 702 Sutherland 680 Vanice 646 Kane 552 Murphy, K 546 Impressive by Podcalzone who is nicely ahead here. Blocks: Darrow 1,492 Centerman IV 859 Zigzagooney 834 Salming 594 Biscuit 563 Podcalzone 499 Murphy, K. 493 Sutherland 491 Skinner 442 Urquhart 431 What an absolute demolishing of everyone else by Darrow who will likely lead this for a while, though Centerman had 225 this season. A decent amount is active here as well though. Shots on goal: Podcalzone 1,489 Kane 1,468 Darrow 1,437 Darzins 1,380 Salming 1,360 Sutherland 1,330 Murphy, K. 1,111 Centerman IV 1,079 Vanice 999 Hobbes 876 Podcalzone with another record broken from Kane. Salming also lots of shots already. Lots of active guys here and two more right outside the top ten. Takeaways: Darrow 354 Salming 251 Centerman IV 248 Sutherland 233 Zigzagooney 227 Podcalzone 216 Hobbes 180 Urquhart 178 Murphy, K. 174 Kane 160 Darrow another massive lead in a defensive category, but two guys behind him that are active and gonna catch up slowly. Lots of active guys here too. And now finally some goalie categories: Games Played: T. Odinson 336 W. Miller 156 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 70 N. McMahon 61 C. Amundsen 52 H. Jass 29 P. Ramsay 21 S. Vassallo 20 A. Dhami 12 Odinson and Miller, the two goalies we had last season both at the top. It is kind of awesome to see the main record holder Odinson back on the team after a few seasons and adding to his records as the backup now. Wins: T. Odinson 152 W. Miller 89 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 31 C. Amundsen 30 N. McMahon 16 H. Jass 15 P. Ramsay 8 A. Dhami 6 S. Vassallo 4 Like in most categories, Odinson and Miller will be at the top here. Losses: T. Odinson 162 W. Miller 50 N. McMahon 35 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 20 C. Amundsen 16 P. Ramsay 11 S. Vassallo 9 H. Jass 8 A. Dhami 0 I guess this is a reverse category, so in fact, Dhami having zero losses is kind of insane and hilarious. Shots against: T. Odinson 10,632 W. Miller 4,799 N. McMahon 2,073 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 1,837 C. Amundsen 1,824 H. Jass 738 P. Ramsay 717 S. Vassallo 609 A. Dhami 195 That is an insane amount of shots against and Odinson has more than double of Miller. Crazy. Saves: T. Odinson 9,651 W. Miller 4,340 N. McMahon 1,886 C. Amundsen 1,684 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 1,668 H. Jass 656 P. Ramsay 652 S. Vassallo 557 A. Dhami 178 Odinson also getting close to 10,000 saves here as well. Save percentage: C. Amundsen 92.32% S. Vassallo 91.46% A. Dhami 91.28% N. McMahon 90.98% P. Ramsay 90.93% R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 90.80% T. Odinson 90.77% W. Miller 90.44% H. Jass 88.89% Finally a category where our two main guys are not at the top, with Amundsen taking the crown here in save percentage. Goals against average: A. Dhami 1.89 C. Amundsen 2.65 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 2.79 S. Vassallo 2.94 W. Miller 3.01 T. Odinson 3.06 H. Jass 3.22 P. Ramsay 3.23 N. McMahon 3.37 Dhami leading this category with an insane 1.89 goals against average. Our current guys square in the middle with a GAA of around 3.00 is also great. Shutouts: T. Odinson 22 R.A. Ragnarsson-Tremblay 9 W. Miller 9 C. Amundsen 6 N. McMahon 5 H. Jass 2 P. Ramsay 1 A. Dhami 1 S. Vassallo 0 Odinson far away at the top, Miller after his 4 this year now tied for 2nd place. Well done! And that's all of it, thank you for reading and congratulations to all the Seattle Argonauts!
