As the Calgary Dragons begin their trek to becoming an SHL Dynasty again in the S52 Season. We are here today to announce some new members that will be helping us on our journey to win our 2nd Cup in the 3rd seasons and cement the Calgary Dragons in SHL History once again. Now introducing our new brother in arms that will be joining us.

THE KING OF KINGS CHICO SMEB @xDParK

King Chico Smeb has been a steady rock for the Calgary Dragons for the past few seasons now and has been always relied upon in key situations for the team. He also plays the game with unique equipment as well. By having the ultimate equalizer in a Sledgehammer as opposed to a regular stick to fend off opponents in the Dragons Zone. That Sledgehammer has shortened careers in his time up with the Calgary Dragons and his time in Juniors as well. Racking up 32 points in 50 games last season along with 35 penalty minutes with the 52 hits to go along, he looks to improve on that part by training extensively hard in the off-season, building some more muscle and building some more conditioning for the minutes that he'll be taking on in the upcoming season and the Dragons will rely on that this upcoming season due to fact that some of the regressing players on the roster. He says that he takes no prisoners on the ice and doesn't care if he has to break some limbs to get where he needs to be which is to another Challenge Cup Victory.

THE BONE SOLDIER JOSEPH WESTON @ACapitalChicago

Now here's a guy, who looks to break into the Calgary Dragons lineup this upcoming pre-season is the Bone Soldier Joseph Weston. After spending a few seasons with the Carolina Kraken, he's looking to make the jump to the big leagues and is ready to reek havoc early in his career. The Kraken have talked a big game about Joseph Weston has been one of their key players and say he'll be a huge loss for their team for the upcoming SMJHL Season as they have a massive void to fill. Weston is a perennial and decorated Sniper that has made other defenses shaking their boots when he enters in their own zone cause he's a guy that masks his shots with his unique ability of shooting the puck. You have no idea if he's gonna snipe it from the slot or take it and drive to the net or pass it off and be set up for a one timer from the circle. Last season with the Kraken he finished with 48 points in 50 games resulting in 20 goals. This season however he developed a new part of his game which is feeding the puck to his teammates especially to the next member that we will be introducing soon. He also was 2nd on the team for shots with a 151 so he isn't afraid of shooting the puck at any angle to get a rebound or try his chances. We look forward to his rookie season with the Dragons when GM Esa decides it's time for Weston show case his magic.

"EL PHANTESMO" ALEXEI RYKOV @RaginCajun

The leading man for the Carolina Kraken this past season Alexei Rykov along with The Bone Soldier Joseph Weston have been the driving force for the Kraken's first place finish during the SMJHL Season. The call him El Phantesmo for a season as the he's coined the nickname due to his fantastic puck handling skills and his elite sniping skills. He finished the season with a PPG average with 50 points in 50 games and was 2nd in scoring on the team with 23 goals to one former Young Dragon Bobby Lane who's now with the Toronto North Stars. With regressing stars on the Calgary Dragons, Rykov will fill in perfectly once called up and fully on the roster to help ease the load for those guys. He says he's very excited and honoured to be apart of the Dragons Bullet Club and is ready to add a new edge to his game being apart of the SHL Faction and won't let them down one single bit. The Dragons Bullet Club is excited for him to make an impact in the SHL and put the league on notice as well.
