WJC Week 2 Analysis
#1

A.J Rocks back again with this weeks look into the WJC.  Last weeks episode,  we devoted our coverage  entirely to team Canada.  With ratings plummeting at record setting lows, management was contemplating on pulling the plug for our broadcast.  On that note lets get right to it!  We will be looking closely at two teams trending in opposite directions, Team USA and team World.

Through already 7 games played in this years WJC,  glancing at the standings, we find at the very top team USA  @Capt_Blitzkrieg @Faelaxat (5-2-0).  At the very other end of the spectrum a team struggling offensively and trying to find their game is team World @Nhamlet with a record of (2-5-0). (Fun fact #1, besides Canada, team World is the only other nation to roster a rookie in their lineup  F-Stein Nilsen @bordon23 shout out!)

Team USA without doubt have well balanced offense across their 4 lines, giving them options in different scenarios of the game.  Leading the charge are  F- C.T Carragher and F- Jmac NCheese @JMacNCheese  with 8 points a piece.  Although Jmac has been firing the puck at will, he only has a lone goal to show for it.  On the other hand Carragher seems to be getting the luckey breaks as his shooting percentage chimes in at a whopping success rate of 36,36%.  Coupled to that a net minder Strom Chamberlain @Geekusoid is stopping everything in his direction, with 5 wins good for top honors in the tournament and  GAA of 1,92 good for second behind none other than the fantastic Elizabeth Doyle 1,86 @Evok

Team World at a glance does not seem to have such a bad team, with notable pieces at the back end such as Akira Ren @Velevra who only has 2 points thus far but a staggering 16 blocked shots ranking atop that chart and Disisde Dayudie @Itriedbutitsnothappening...who logs the 2nd best time on his team with over 20 minutes per game and chipped in with 1 goal and 3 assists. As scoring seems to be the issue, we need not look any further as defensive forward Nicholas Owens @Grum leads the team in scoring with 5 points and no goals, clearly here an issue of concern.  Their goaltending woes  a major concern, with only one candidate available G-Steven Vassallo @libertines, a second goaler was needed and G- Separa Borro Canadian born @Lyezech is currently on loan from team Canada to fill the void.
