The Prince George Firebirds squad of season 30 was viewed as a clear rebuilder for that season after they had exhausted their 1st and 2nd round picks for this season in rental deals but never managed to win a Cup. The team also underwent a change in the front office position with Mac stepping down and his former Co-GM Artermis taking over from him and hiring a former GM of the team as well as notable alumni RomanesEuntDomus to be his Co-GM. The new GM duo was blessed with one of the biggest draft classes the SMJHL had ever seen up to that point with 96 players being selected in that fateful draft.

The selections of this draft were:
#20 Eduard Selich who went on to be drafted #2 overall in the following SHL draft by the Buffalo Stampede. Selich would end up leading the Firebirds in points in their playoff run to losing in Game 7 to the Halifax Raiders in the Four Star Cup finals. Selich would play 100 games with the Firebirds and amass 68 Points with 36 of these being goals. He won quite a few awards during his time in the SMJHL with the Zach Miller Trophy in S30, the Ron Bolt Trophy in the same season as well as Ronan O'Keefe Trophy for his performance in the S30 playoffs.

#29 Ben Waters who went on to be drafted #16 overall in the following SHL draft by the Hamilton Steelhawks. Waters quickly became the starter of the rookie heavy Prince George and eventually won the starting gig against Ace Dafoe. Waters started in 43 games in S30 and 44 games in S31. Waters became the 1st star of the game 7 times in each of his seasons for the Firebirds which means he carried the team in about 16% of his starts. His SMJHL career save percentage would be a respectable 89.6%.

#36 Johnny Pollak sadly went undrafted in the following SHL since he peaked at only 204 TPE in his playing days. Pollak would play a total of 100 games for Prince George and score 34 points while block 130 shots.

#45 Toms Shnekinsen who went on to be drafted #87 overall in the following SHL draft by the Buffalo Stampede. He was drafted that low because he only peaked at 218 TPE. Toms would play 100 games for the Firebirds and get on score sheet a total of 21 times. Interestingly enough when Shnekinsen would score quite a lot of his goal were fairly clutch with 4 game winning goals and 1 game tying goal in only 14 career goals by the german sniper.

#52 Hylytyr NoRetornable who went on to be drafted #58 overall in the following SHL draft by the Portland Admirals. Hylytyr was on the ice for the Prince George Firebirds a total of 150 games and scored 67 points in his SMJHL career. Another player who didn't score a ton but was quite clutch when scoring with 6 Game winning goals and 9 game tying goals in only 32 SMJHL career goals. Which means that almost half of his career goals were clutch goals.

This means that in total PGF has drafted 550 games with 190 points and 41 wins by the goalie. Which isn't a great return on investment but they still found some good value in the later picks and came very close to winning the Four Star Cup in the same season of this draft with this rookie class having a big impact for that run.
