SHL and SMJHL Teams by D&D Alignment
#1

What?

Yes. We are using the D&D Alignment chart to organize the SHL and SMJHL teams. But, we have a Scientific™ method to the madness.

Here's how it will work.

Every letter will be given a score from 1-9, in the order A = 1, B = 2. C = 3, and so on, looping back after every nine letters. I = 9, then back to J = 1 again, K = 2, L = 3, etc. all the way to Z = 8.

The letters in each team's name will be added up and enumerated. If the result is greater than 9, the digits of that number are added together. This is repeated as needed until a number is generated that is less than 9.

As an example, NEW ENGLAND WOLFPACK = N = 5, E = 5, W = 5, etc. add them all up to get 78, and then 7 + 8 = 15, 1 + 5 = 6. So New England gets 6. We'll repeat this for every team.

The nine resulting numbers are assigned as follows:

1 = Lawful Good
2 = Neutral Good
3 = Chaotic Good
4 = Lawful Neutral
5 = True Neutral
6 = Chaotic Neutral
7 = Lawful Evil
8 = Neutral Evil
9 = Chaotic Evil

So now that our method has been explained, let's see the results!

THE LAWFUL GOOD TEAMS

Calgary Dragons
Colorado Raptors
Maine Timber
Newfoundland Berserkers

THE NEUTRAL GOOD TEAMS

Anchorage Armada
Buffalo Stampede
Chicago Syndicate

THE CHAOTIC GOOD TEAMS

Los Angeles Panthers
San Francisco Pride
Texas Renegades

THE LAWFUL NEUTRAL TEAMS

Tampa Bay Barracuda

THE TRUE NEUTRAL TEAMS

St. Louis Scarecrows

THE CHAOTIC NEUTRAL TEAMS

Manhattan Rage
New England Wolfpack
New Orleans Specters

THE LAWFUL EVIL TEAMS

Carolina Kraken
Kelowna Knights
Minnesota Chiefs
Winnipeg Jets

THE NEUTRAL EVIL TEAMS

Baltimore Platoon
Detroit Falcons
Hamilton Steelhawks
Toronto North Stars

THE CHAOTIC EVIL TEAMS

Anaheim Outlaws
Edmonton Blizzard
Vancouver Whalers

The answers are completely accurate and there are no known discrepancies in the Scientific™ method used to calculate the results.

I listen to too much metal to be Neutral Good. At the very best, I'm Chaotic Neutral ranging to full-blown Chaotic Evil.

Literally one of my favorite songs is  In League With Satan. That can't be Neutral Good.
