We’re ecstatic to announce that we’ve agreed to terms on contract extensions with three big members of our franchise today.

First off, we’ve extended Ethan Price, our coveted wing prospect playing down with the Anaheim Outlaws. Price enjoyed a massive leap in his development, posting a 41 point campaign as one of the top snipers in the league. We’re excited to see his progression and expect to see more from him as he returns to the SMJHL for S54.

Secondly, top prospect Sven Yxskaft has agreed to terms on a three year contract extension that keeps him in Green through the S57 season. Yxskaft was a stud on the Vancouver blue line and stands atop of his class in TPE. He could’ve made the jump up to the SHL this season, but he elected to return to his SMJHL franchise to take one last stab at that elusive Four Star Cup. Sven Yxskaft projects into a top pair two way defender and we can not wait for the day that he makes the jump up to the big leagues.

Finally, we’ve agreed to terms with current New England centerman Jakub Bruchevski. The St. Louis Scarecrows alum has quickly carved out an effective style of play and was a big part of our Presidents Trophy winning club. Clearly the whole roster wasn’t pleased with the results in the playoffs, and Bruchevski has taken that to heart as well, only increasing his training intensity this offseason. All eyes are on Jakub as he looks to take the leap in the following seasons to develop into a top tier centerman in the SHL.
