9 seasons into the league and Ivan Lacksamus is already a top 75 player of all time. For good reason too. In this inflation FHM8 era of the league, Ivan Lacksamus is one of the best players in the league, Holding the record for most points in a season. Drafted 11th OA in the S63 Draft to the New England Wolfpack. Ivan’s career started off well.
S66 was Ivan’s first season in the league, where he scored 21 goals and 33 assists for 54 points. Earning him a Ryan Jesster nom for best rookie. S67 was around the same, scoring 21 goals again, but only 28 assists for 49 points.

With the start of S68  Ivan’s scoring went up. Scoring 31 goals and 40 assists for 71 points. He is steadily improving as a player. For S69 Ivan had another career high in both goals and assists. Scoring 38 goals and 45 assists  for 83 points.

S70 saw his first taste of getting nominated. Scoring 25 goals and 73 assists for 98 points. Good for 11th in the league in points, and 3rd in the league in Assists. This was Ivans first season being one of the best players in the league. Ivan was able to secure a Jeff Dar nomination, helping by having great underlying stats, 72 hits and 71 shots blocked. He also won his first Challenge Cup with the New England Wolfpack.

S71 saw him crack 100+ points for the first time. Scoring a career high 49 goals and 63 assists for 112 points. Ivan was 4th in the league in points. Only a step behind Evil Allbran, Mikko Rashford, and LIas Ekholm-Gunnarson. Ivan is solidifying himself as one of the best players in the league now. He was also 6th in goals that season, showing his improvement for scoring goals. For all of that he earned a spot on the 2nd All Star Team.

S72 was when Ivan really started to earn a spot on the top 75. With 55 goals, 76 assists for 131 points, Ivan went to another gear this season. Getting a 1st All Star Team. Winning his first Ron Mexico, Winning the Sarmad Khan, and winning the Sergei Karpostov for most points for the season. An Absolute insane season from Ivan Lacksamus. That is good for t-5th most points in a season for FHM8. In the playoffs as well, Ivan popped off for 36 points during that postseason, only losing to Winnipeg in the finals. For that performance, he was nominated for the Anton Razov as well.

S73 proved that S72 was not Ivans peak after all. Ivan had the best season in SHL history. Scoring 65 goals, 77 assists for 142 points! That is good for 1st most points in a single season in SHL history. Those goals are tied for 2nd for most goals in SHL history as well. For those huge accomplishments, Ivan earned another 1st All Star Team, winning the Jay McDonald award for most goals in a season. Winning the Sergei Karpostov award for most points in a season. Then winning B2B Ron Mexico and Sarmad Khan Awards as well.

S74 saw Ivan regress. Regress as in only reaching 109 points, with 51 goals and 58 assists. He was good for 8th in the league in points. S74 is also where Ivan saw him win his 2nd Challenge Cup With New England. As of writing right now, he was nominated for the Jeff Dar and the Anton Razov for this season as well. S75 would see a dip this season. Only scoring 29 points in 30 games so far.

Already 5 peak seasons of being one of the best players in the league. Being a top 10 players for almost all of those seasons. Leading the league in points twice, and goals once. Setting a new scoring record in the league with 142 points. First player to crack 140+ points.

As of right now, Ivan is at 594 GP, 356 goals, 493 assists for 849 points. Good for 49th most points by a forward. With a 1.42 PPG, he is 2nd most in points per game right now, only behind Evan Winter with a 1.45 PPG for any skater over 500 GP. Obviously as Ivan’s career winds down and his PPG pace dies down with him. For now though, he is one of the best SHL players in the league right now. We will have to see how the rest of his career goes to see how high he could be at. But for now, he is ranked 44th in the top 75 players of all time.

On a personal note, as I am his GM and the person who drafted him. Ivan Lacksamus is a key player to our rebuild and consequential  cup wins. I couldn't be happier for him to be on this list. He is truly the key to the start of the rebuild. The first player I drafted in New England. A draft pick people mocked as Thief said he wouldnt know if he would max earn or not.  Couldn't be prouder for ThiefofCheese for committing to the player, and he deserves all the praise.
