1. Trivia Verification Word - Bangladesh
6a. I would much rather have a cup in the FHM era than the STHS era. There are a few reasons for this. One: I've only ever played in the FHM era and I like seeing the diamonds and fast moving icons much more to any text. Two: STHS is a dumb game and I believe mr. Tremblay should feel awful for his efforts. Three: Just reason number two again but it's such a dumb game and league boomers are clinging to nostalgia. 6b. Being honest, I do not know if we would have had the quote unquote "big four" in the final four. For as much as people complain about seeing the same faces, I also feel like there are still a lot of upsets. I am sure that Calgary would be the first to point out how they were upset by the Seattle Argonauts as a reason as to why the regular season doesn't solidify the way the postseason will go. 6c. I would not relocate the Steelhawks to anywhere else. Relocation is bad. If you want a team so badly, just make one and have it join up with the association. Sure, you'll start in a lower tier of hockey, but if you work well, make savvy moves and play good hockey you might just find yourselves in the SHL proper one day. I'm a Sonics fan so take it from me when I say that relocation isn't fun for anyone. Plus, there isn't too much in Hamilton, let them keep their hockey team. 6d. The best player to never make the finals is clearly Reid Sutherland. Dude is an absolute stud and he would be a finals MVP, no, he will be a finals MVP when he takes the Seattle Argonauts to the Challenge Cup Finals. His offensive production has been incredible; both for Seattle and for the fantasy teams of people all around the league. 7. Challenge Cup Ring 12. Milestones - 1 TPE 14. I think that out of all the teams in the SHL, we are most likely to see the Toronto North Stars blow everything up. I think the team itself is fine, but the core has been there for forever, I think they've been unfortunate in the terms of the strength of both their old and current division mates, and I think that the recent uncertainties in their front office will lead to them losing some of their best and oldest players and starting to build assets to build around their current crop of rookies (they did have three first rounders in season fifty-nine) or even the returns of those future assets. People love to complain about parity here and if that pertains to the general managers and war rooms of teams on the cusp of breaking into the top four, the North Stars might get an absolute haul for their players in deals that look to unload a star player to a team on the cusp of greatness. 20. I guess I'll take this space to advertise the World Simulation Basketball League, or WSBL for short. We're pretty new, having only just completed our first season, but I'd say we're pretty fun so far. I think a pretty big plus of our league is that our newness stops people from having stupid debates about parity. Plus, my team the Seattle Orcas have won the first and only championship in league history, and I think that's pretty sweet. The cool thing about a basketball league is that the rosters are far smaller than other sports so even with less TPE or less interest, one can easily find themselves in a position to play a key role on a team. In our game seven finals win, our self admitted 'mid earner' @LordBirdman shot the dagger three the brought us the championship, and for that I'll be forever grateful to him. If you like basketball, cool people and the idea of helping a new league grow, then the WSBL would definitely be for you. If you join, come say hi to me. |
