Interesting question, I think a cup in the sths era is worth to me more. First of all, I only have one sths cup and 4 fhm cups. Secondly, I feel like winning cups in fhm is just too easy. Whereas in sths even with meta builds you had maybe a 60% chance to win. b. I think buffalo could have beaten baltimore or tampa had they played in the second round, but to answer the question, no, I don't think so because chicago probably wouldn't have made it past the second round anyway. They're a good regular season team no doubt but they just lack that clutch gene in the playoffs. Code: 11a. Written, 2 TPE - The Procrastinator Special! (100 words min.) Congratulations to Texas, I would say it wasn't a predictable final since most people probably expected hamilton to win, and there wasn't a clear winner because this series went to game 7 with many close games. I don't think it was an exciting final either because an exciting final is when hamilton wins the cup and that's what most people want to see, it didn't happen this time as hamilton did not win the cup so it was pretty disappointing to most people. Again congratulations to Texas on a well deserved win but it was pretty boring because people didn't get to see what they wanted which was another hamilton cup win. Code: 12. Parity is not an issue in the shl and I wish people would look at the facts before saying that. And the facts are since the switch to fhm, every single team has made the playoffs at least once. That's right, every single team. That seems like parity to me. You can define parity as when any team has a 50/50 chance to win the cup or worse. Let's look at the cup winners since s53 53 ham 54 nola 55 buf 56 ham 57 chi 58 ham 59 tex 60 buf 61 ham 62 tex Hamilton (4 cups in 10 seasons, 40%), Buffalo (2 cups in 10 seasons, 20%), Texas (2 cups in 10 seasons, 20%). So all of these teams are more likely NOT to win the cup than to win the cup in any given season. I believe that is indeed parity. In fact, shl has too much parity and we should abolish the salary cap and encourage dynasties because parity is just boring. Code: 19. Written, 3 TPE, Groundhog Day 150 words min For starters, I would not bet on NEW for casion because they missed the over by a couple of wins and lost me money, what an absolutely terrible idea it was and I have no idea why I did it in the first place. I would've also paid more attention to the fantasy draft because this was the first time ever when I didn't get any fantasy tpe. Pretty much all of my picks busted or underperformed. If I had done any research I probably would've realized that it wasn't a great idea to draft LO3 in the first round. I also shouldn't have drafted my player lol because my player regressed a lot compared to last season, though to be fair I took myself with the last pick which was no big deal. Oh and I should have swapped for someone early because there were some good forwards available but I never did. So I would've ended up with more money and more tpe if I could do it differently. |
