I dunno, might lead to too many false positives... I mean even in the past seasons where Gibby averaged about 3 minutes per game he still at least played in some of them, would be kinda unfair to just not count them at all. Same probably goes for call-ups/send-downs.

I definitely can't vote someone in based off of how many games they played. Gibbon is a superb member, but his player isn't HoF worthy.

Lol. If Vlad Smirnov didn't make the HOF with 700 games, 2 cups and more points than Gibbon AS A DEFENDER then this isn't even an option! And he actually played 700 games. He didn't get benched for a game. Last seasons he was a 3rd line D-man, but he still had atleast 12-15 mins a game.

I see it like I see Dan Cleary or any very good depth player that plays for a long time and wins a few cups. Not a HOFer, I love Gibby given he's the only active cougar left minus me on this site. But he's not a HOFer
