6) I hope this will be the Steelhawks' cup winning year. what is it now, their third final appearance in a row, I think this time around they have the team and group of guys to earn them to a championship. Now don't get me wrong, Texas is a good team (there's a reason they made it to the finals), but hamilton has franchise scorers in the positions of Magnus Jakobsen, Joe McKeil and Griffin Simons, all who were over 40 points in the regular season. The former two had 55+. They've also had very pointful playoffs, although McKeil is the only one averaging more than a point a game. Jakobsen and Simons have 12 points and 6 points respectively. However, epic rookie Bryson Thomaz has shined for Hamilton with 13 points in 13 GP, after a solid regular season record of 38 points, he's doing exactly what Hamilton wants from him. Another rookie who has shined this season and playoffs is 1st line winger Franklin Trey. With 36 regular season points and 8 points so far in the playoffs, he's helped the provided some secondary scoring out of all the young talent into the lineup with his skills and productivity. Their goaltender, Edwin Ask, is also leading the way with 8 wins and a save percentage of .918 in the postseason. Although he didn't put up the best regular season save percentage, his 27 wins on the season prove that he can play in clutch situations and lead his team to the victories they need. With the starting of Tanner, I can't say its a bad move, but Tanner is under a lot of pressure as if he messes up, the blame can shift to him. Overall, I believe the Steelhawks finally have the best package in their roster to win the Challenge Cup and you know what they say, 3rd times a charm.

6. When you see a team step onto the ice and the crowd almost literally goes electric with adoration, excitement, and joy, you know you've found a good thing. That's what the Texas Renegades have here as they head to the SHL Challenge Cup Finals.
You first see the crowd get excited as the game goes on, but the usual source of excitement in the games comes from stellar forward and all-around trash talker Jordan Hall. This dynamo on offense has contributed to the tune of 21 goals, 46 assists, and a combined 67 points, an SHL best this year. When you have a two-way forward that is as dominant as this player is right now, your team is unstoppable, as they've shown against tough West rivals throughout the playoffs.
But the front end isn't where all the excitement, glamor, and finesse comes from. In net for the Renegades is a man feared by most of the SHL. The big Swedish tender Jordin FourFour is minding the nets for the Renegades, a usually offensive team that can create big goal disparities with a goal scorer like Hall and a brick wall like FourFour. FourFour's talents in the two playoff series prior to the Finals has been extraordinary, shutting down the likes of David Winter, Chris McZerhl, Brian Morley, and Jhonas Skaarsgard. Expect this group of defending Challenge Cup Champions to retain their title, only updated with the phrase, "Back to Back Champions".

7. Bad. Dirty. Reeking. These words alone may seem distasteful, maybe even out of place, but combine them with the phrase, "The Detroit Falcons are..." and they fit in perfectly! Let's take an in-depth look at arguably the worst team in the SMJHL.
First, they have a send-down goalie in Rob Pressen. Doesn't everyone know that any GOOD goalie should only play one season in his entire lifetime? That's why the Falcons couldn't make the Finals last year (Detroit is still appropriately named Molmtown after the year of the One Season Wonder Oskar Molmsten) and that's why they won't win it all this year.
Next up, debauchery, thievery, and pure villainy. The Detroit Falcons encourage those that wish to write about them to use words that, shall we say, have a certain ending to them. Yes, of course I'm talking about GM Mook's incessant need to use words that end in he letter "y". Mooky Pooky, as he's forcibly cited by other outlets, has been rigging the sports pages in Detroit for a whole season now (his whole tenure, I can't be dramatic and say seasons, damn...), going so far as to pay off members of the press to use words like, and I quote,
Quote:debauchery, thievery, and pure villainy.
Those 3 words weren't even used in proper context thanks to Mooky Pooky and his money problems. Hopefully Steelhead77 notices the unusual use of the letter "y" and adds it to the Detroit Falcons Banished Letters banner, with great letters like "p", "g", and "M" (only the capital version of M after Molmtown). This criminal GMing is why Detroit will never win a Cup until they fire everyone.

The Texas Renegades will win the cup because it's a proven fact. The West is just way more dominant than the East these days. The last time an East team won the challenge cup was all the way back in season 12. Texas is here, to reclaim the throne at the top, and they will do it. Behind the all-star goaltender, Jordin Fourfour, former Vancouver Whaler all-star, he is arguably, the best goaltender around today and if he keeps this up, he may be, the best goaltender to ever step foot into the SHL. With an offensive core of Liam Kinsler, Alexander Daigle, Salmon, Byrde, Mikhail Krivokrasov and Jordan Hall. With an amazing top 6 calibre players right there, they will be an amazing offensive force while relying on Fourfour to just stand on his head like he usually does. Their offence might not overpower the Hamilton Steelhawk's offence but with Fourfour behind them, it might not even matter how good the Steelhawk's offence is. And to add onto the Renegades offence and goaltending, they have Partlow, Gauthier, Lahey and Velevra all manning the defence alongside Fourfour, any team that goes up against the Renegades will have a tough time doing anything and mounting any momentum.

7. Wow, man, the Hamilton Steelhawks sure do suck. Man, where do I start. Ah, let me first talk about that Rider Clitsome scrub. First, what kind of person names their kid Rider Clitsome. You eat the clit, you fuck the clit, you don't ride the clit. Freaking idiots. Next up, we have Friedrich Muller, the wanna me general manager. Well let me tell you something Mr Muller, you will never be a successful general manager! If you can barely do good on ice, how the hell are you going to do good behind the scenes. God damn man. Then we have Byrson Thomaz? Talk about a waste of a Vancouver Whaler alumni. I feel disgusted that he even came out of the Vancouver Whalers. Boy, was I a dumbass to select him in the draft. Then we have Armin Brovalchuk? Ugh, you're careers over dude. Just ride into the sunset before it's too late. Oh wait, it was already over when you were drafted in season 9. Magnus Jakobson, man, boy do you like to not do anything right. You think you're helping your team but it would be best if you just stay in the press box cheering with your pom poms. I don't even want to talk about Edwin Ask. Hopefully Joe McKeil actually does good for you guys in the finals, at least he's good.

6) Tough decision to pick between Hamilton Steelhawks and Texas Renegades, but i'll go with Steelhawks.. Many years they havent won anything, just a lot president trophies, they have made the finals, but last 2 times they've lost them. This is the third final for them and maybe this time they will finally won the Challenge Cup. I dont know why, but I have that feeling. They already won 2 better teams than their own. These were Toronto North Stars in the first round , and second it was more tougher opponents New England Wolfpack. 3rd round aka finals they'll be the best possible opponents and maybe they will win this super star team too. Who knows? Hamilton has a great leadership.. Some young guys, 2-3 old guys like captain McKeil, Grosberg, Edwin Ask and they are playing with their roster and I really hope and think they will win the challenge cup, because they just absolutely deserve to win the cup. Also their co-gm was disqualified and I think Hamilton players will want to show the league they will win for Banack and play for him. I think they are pumped and they can win Texas Renegays with their SPEED, because they have a lot of youngins out there and EXPERIENCE from McKeil, Grosberg and Ask. Renegades roster is very old, but in the other side Steelhawks are very young team, so I think they'll take the cup!

7) Fucking bastards, the Texas Renegays... Ehh what can I say? Team of a bunch of faggots.. Spamming their shit all day long, especially Hallsy.. I dont why DP is not taking him to church, since there's something BAD inside him.. Also their fucking captain Bird, just cheting' to win.. Disrespect is real. Also that old fucker named Brendan Gibbon ex captain, now he's kept in a cage, but no one knows why.. This team is fucking terrible.. On defense FartGod, WOATier, Jim Fagey... Only gud guy Shawn Velevra.. Others just faggos.. 4th line is fucking WOAT.. Granger - Gibbon - Carlzen LMAO. This line combined like -50 in regular season and in one playoff game they combined -8 in one game.. What a fucking joke this team is.. I just cant lool. Also their shitty LR.. 600 pages my ass, half of dat shit is Hallsy' spamming renegades emoji.. What a joke and they are saying they have the best LR. Their team is full of WOAT members and WOAT players and their cup win was an absolute fluke. Their GM is inactive as fuck, but no one cares. They just can go with their CO-GM and no one gives a shit, because they've got 2 FACKING COMMISHES IN THEIR TEAM and no one cant say a shit about them..I really hope Steelhawks will beat these Renegays as fast as possible and take the Challenge Cup away from them!

Today were talking about the Kelowna Knights, and their odds to win the four star cup. Kelowna was this seasons regular season champs, and they have just came off a hard fought game seven series with the Whalers. This seven game series shouldn't make anyone nervous, they are still a top team, and had some slow legs coming off the first round bye. Kelowna is an experienced group, which made it into the finals last season as well. They are lead by their captain Leonidas, who had a hattrick and 5 points in game 7. He has started to heat up as the play offs went on. They also have forward depth through all three lines. Moving onto defence they are lead by second overall pick in the SMJHL draft, Kwik . Kwik has a strong season, recording over 40 assists. He will be a huge part of kelowna success moving forward in the next round. Last but not least is their goaltender Mark Harter. He struggled out of the gates in his rookie season, but has since heated up and posting great numbers. He recently posted a 40 save game. Harter will have to be on top of his game if the Knights are going to want to win the four star cup!

7. Lets talk about the crows. Maybe the biggest trash talking team in the league. But all this season was talk, after getting blown out by the detroit falcons in five games . Since then the crows have become awful quiet. The season started with the crows getting hyped over PENT-e-BUST. Who went inactive for the season, and did little for his team. He was out played all season by number two overall pick Kwik! What else went wrong for the scare crows you ask? Well you can definitely point a finger at their goaltender. Special in the playoffs second round where he got pulled four times? I may be wrong. In the last pbp there was some heated discussion between team mates. Players blamed the goalie, and the goalie blamed the players! Now if that isnt an internal problem, im not sure what is. So with all these problems the crows have been facing, from getting embarrassed in the playoffs, to pentecost being a huge bust, and the goaltender issue, we have to feel sorry for them right? Fuck no, they deserve it. If your gonna step up and trash talk, make sure you can at least back it up, at least a little bit.

6. In my very humble opinion, the winners of the Four Star Cup is....Kelowna Knights! Why? Look at this team! Let's start with Sean Leonidas. Yeah, maybe he is a bust, but in this season he is on fire! And we don't have to watch all season. Just look at Western Conference finals, esepecially on 7th game. 5 points. 5 points and a hattrick! Gawd, this is serous...And look at this young 190 pound brick wall kid Mark Harter! Yeah, maybe he has started this season very awful, but look at him now! In playoffs, he proved that he deserves a number one rookie goalie status. But wait! I am not done. Mariusz Kwik, one of the best defence player in this season, the second pick on the draft. Yeah, maybe after the draft people thought, that Kwik is the steal. But I am not sure that these people will say the same after the playoffs. And let's not forget about the Ales Smirnov, he is a good talent too. Oh, watch out! OH MY GAWD, one another hit by unstopable hitting machine Dolph Ziggler! 112 hits in regular season-he is way too big for SMJHL...Well, I hope that my prediction was right, or i will put Kelowna Knights team in my black list. Thanks for watching...or reading!

7. In my very humble opinion, Kelowna Knights team completely SUCK! Sean Leonidas? He is a maafaka BUST! 23 goals in regular season? Pff, probably the opposite team players just went to the pub and whorehouses during the game, when Sean finally managed to find an empty net. Mark Harter? Gosh, he is a lucky guy...''90-92 percent'' games? Naah, the opposite players just came back to the game from pub...and they were completely drunk. Even my grangrangrangrandma can save these weak shots on the net. And even after this Mark still can not show a Shutout game? Wow...And look at this macaroni head Dolph Ziggler! Wait, he is not fired? Oh, he is fired from World Wrestling Entertainment. But he is need to be fired from SHL too! For life! He is just talking too much trash here and he is annoying even for Mark Harter! Mariusz Kwik? The second pick? What? As I said, and I quote: '' Pff, probably the opposite team players just went to the pub and whorehouses during the game''. Of course, that he will be one of the best defenders in this league. Even I, the goalie can do this!

Gosh... I'd rather to start a singing career with Nicki Minaj, than playing with these piece of nobodies. Thanks for watching...or reading.

When you boil hockey down to it's core, what is the one thing you need to do to win? Score more goals than the other team. And if there's one thing the Hamilton Steelhawks are good at, it's scoring goals. With a deadly forward core lead by Joe McKeil, an annual candidate for scoring leader, and Magnus Jakobsen, who dominated this year, lighting the lamp a league-topping 27 times, Hamilton can duke it of with the best of them. What is perhaps even more incredible is the fact that they have achieved this level of offensive production despite losing Rehn Miller, James Blaine, David Winter, and Ivo Willems, all capable forwards who have been critical to Hamilton's previous playoff runs. Another huge part of what makes Hamilton so successful is the production they are receiving from young players. Rookie Griffin Simons managed 47 points over the regular season, and softmore Friedrich Muller really broke out, adding 40 points of his own to lead Hamilton's D core. Speaking of defense, many suspected that the Steelhawks' wouldn't be up to par this season, but they have proven otherwise. Despite losing veterans Jareth Sto-Helit, Brandon Cant, and Roman Schultz, the Steelkhawks performed admirably on defense, limiting opponents to an average of 26 shots per game. Tried and true netminder Edwin Ask and rookie sensation Jakob Tanner provide a solid tandem in goal, cementing Hamilton's already capable roster with a pair of goalies who can both steal games when necessary. With excellence at every position, the Steelhawks have what it takes to win the Cup this year, but their biggest asset is their tenacity. Even with a purged roster and a slew of previous playoff disappointments, the Steelhawks clawed their way into the finals. The won't be going home empty-handed this year.

The Texas Renegades

Dallas, Texas. A city with an average of less than 2 inches of annual snowfall. A city, and a state, where football reigns supreme. Some place to put a hockey team, eh? Do the ponds even freeze down there? And as far as that goes, why are they called the "Texas Renegades"? The team can't belong to the whole state! That's almost as ridiculous as naming them after a suburb! As if it wasn't bad enough already, then there's the players. They don't even know what their own team is called! It's always Renegods or Renegades. Apparently they can't read their own jerseys. And they're constantly bragging about their locker room. "Over 600 pages", "tbh we broke the page record every year", "best LR in the league", and on, and on, and on. Well guess what? It's probably just hundreds of pages of goat porn and emoticons! There's no real conversation going on in there! And their names! It's so damn confusing! "Pbp" "bbp" "bbq" "pbb", what do they mean! Ever since the playoffs started you can't tell one from another, and it's getting on my last nerve. I can only imagine what the bank managers are going through. Then there's that goalie. FiveFive or whatever his name is. Doesn't even have a real last name, it's just his jersey number! With a team like that winning, you'd almost think the game was rigged.

6) My prediction here is for the SMJHL Four Star Cup. I believe that the Kelowna Knights will be the ones winning the Cup this season. I'm basing this on the fact that the power, in my opinion, was all in the West Division this year. My thoughts were that whoever won the battle between the Vancouver Whalers and the Kelowna Knights would ultimately win the Cup. They have a stacked roster with some key players and send downs. Leonidas is having a great post-season so far and their defense is very solid. Their top line is a stellar unit and they have enough depth to compete deep within games. They also have a very active goalie in Mark Harter, who seems to have built himself a nice prospect so far and comes up clutch for the Knights pretty often. I think the Detroit Falcons will put up a fight. However, I don't think that they have enough depth to win a 7 game series against Kelowna. Detroit has some great players, but weren’t really tested much in the east Division. The Scarecrows kind of stumbled into the playoffs and the Impact weren’t much of a challenge for anyone this year in the SMJHL. My prediction is for the Knights to win in 6 games!

7) I don’t think there’s a team that I necessarily “hate.” However, I would ultimately be happy if the damn Kelowna Knights didn’t win. I am so sick of their damn chirping and shit talking! So many talking heads on that team. Leonidas acts like the king of the world and Harter dances around like he’s the best goalie to walk the planet! My team, the Vancouver Whalers and the Kelowna Knights battled it out consistently in the regular season and the barely beat us for the best overall record. Same thing happened over in the playoffs. After we blew away whoever we played in the first round, we had to go against the Knights in the 2nd round. We took it all the way to Game 7 and lost. But after the series they act like we didn’t stand a chance and were lucky to get 7 games. Pfft. Please. I almost wish Detroit had a better team just so that they could bend the Knights over and ripped them a new bung hole. Probably wont happen though and I’ll have to listen to more Knights bullshit after they win the Four Star Cup. Freaking turds. Blah blah blah, eff the Knights.

Texas will win the Challenge Cup for S21, becoming back to back champions. It will be thanks to all of the star power on the team. On Offense you have Chico Salmon, Alexandre Daigle, Lionel Byrde, and Jordan Hall leading the charge. On defense you have Chris Partlow, Shawn Velevra, and Jim Lahey defending the back end. Lastly you have the future Hall of Famer Jordin Four Four in net breaking records left and right.

On paper this is the best starting group of players in the league, which automatically puts them at the top of my list. Not only have they already won the finals last season against Hamilton, they got the giant teal monkey off of their back by defeating Seattle in a thrilling seven game series.

On the flip side, Hamilton's young core has definitely developed, and Muller has taken over as a key defender for their squad. But they lack that star power to really seal the deal, and it's a surprise they have even gotten to where they are today. Jakob Tanner is a great goalie, but he is still new, and I worry whether he will be able to make the saves asked of him against such an aggressively offensive team. I think Texas will take this one in 5 games.

7. WRITING PART 2!

Hamilton sucks giant donkey balls. What exactly is a Steelhawk anyway. Everybody complains about West Kendall's logo, but that's as fricken American as you can get without flat out using Old Glory. There's a pokemon that's just a steel bird, is that what they are? The Hamilton flying bird pokemons? Imagine you just got drafted to Hamilton and you have to explain to your family what your team is. "Well it's from a video game and it's a flying steel thi-" "Son you're fired from our family. Pack your bags."

Hamilton is Toronto's butt hole, so nobody sane would want to live their when JNH and Toronto is like right there. I'd rather swim across the lake and be demoted to SMJHL so I can play in Detroit than live in a place famous for not really anything. Do they at least have Ham in Hamilton? No, they probably have Canadian bacon because gawd damn Hamilton blows.

Then you got the chet masters all over here. Tanner notorious for popping steriod pills and injecting heroin in his eyeballs was just annouced starter by the guy who got caught wearing his tampers pampers. Magnus is like that guy in class where you want to pass a note to somebody and he just holds the note up looking for the person to pass it to and the teacher catches and damnit that guy in class sucks. Don't even get me started on muller who would eat a goat testicle for another job to add to his every job in shl.

In short they're alright I guess.

#6 - Writing part 1 :
The 4 star cup finals this year will be a very good one. In fact, we can see there the best Knight team in years! They've been strong all season and they've played pretty well in the playoffs. Why are they so strong you'll ask? First, this team is really well balanced. They've got really good players returning for a second year and really good rookies coming in. To add to this, they've learned at the beginning of the season that they were about to get a 3rd season SMJHLer too! When we look at the stats, it's pretty hard to ignore that the Knights finished 1st in points (leading SMJHL), 1st in goal scored with more than 15 goals ahead of 2nd place and 3rd in goals against. When we take a look at the league leaders of S21, we can see that 5 Knights players are in the top 10 point leaders, with Sean Leonidas at #1. When you have 2 great trios, posting points almost every night and staying there in the top 10, you know you'll be hard to beat! When you talk about well balanced....just take a look at the +/- column. The Knights own the first 4 places there with players at +25 to +17 and have 6 players in the top 10. Kelowna has a really well balanced team in goals, defense and offense, with a plus for offense. Everyone knows the quote ''the best defense is a good offense''. It’ll be really hard to stop the Knights this season.

#7 - Writing part 2 :
Since we've talked about the powerful Knights in part 1, now let's see why the Falcons won't win this cup....why they suck so much! I'm not going to talk about stats or anything out there....we've discussed this enough so far. It's easy to know why this team sucks....they've got players who can't keep their focus on the ice....they prefer partying and spending time with girls (or boys?!?!Wink instead of training hard. I read the news a few days ago....here's what it said :
12 Detroit Falcons arrested in a bar in Kelowna.
Yesterday, not less than 12 players got arrested in a bar in Kelowna, after partying too much. We've learned that they started to ''have fun'' at about 3PM, a day before game 5 of the SMJHL finals. Everything started to go wrong when their regular season leading scorer, Clay Parker, wanted to bring a girl back to his hotel room. The girl said, but Parker insisted. He got slapped in the face and a friend of her pushed him. A ''general fight'' started in the bar. It didn't take long to see most of the best players Four-Bryde, Wahlstrom, Fischer, Pressen jump into this fight. The only Falcons player who didn't fight was backup goalie Wrynn, who was seen jumping behind the bar stealing alchool. In the end, nobody got injured, but players spent the night in the same cell at the police station. It's not know yet if there will be accusations against Wrynn...who had this to say ''...............I'm gonna puke man..........'' after the incidents.
---
So, easy to see why they won't win the championship this year!

The Steelhawks' time has come. Not because we're the better team; we're not. At least, not on paper. We're in our first season of a retool/rebuild and we lost some major players over the course of this season, trying to acquire picks that will land us younger talent. Not because we work harder; the Renegades work just as hard as us. That's the reason they've made it to back-to-back finals as well. No, the reason the Steelhawks' time has come is simply this: We need it. This season has been a rough one for Hamilton, and it appears that the next few years may be just as difficult. None of it will even come close to killing the team, but in a stretch where blow after blow seems to land with no sign of stopping, a Cup win would be a godsend.

The league is undergoing a period of major change, with the previous two draft classes beginning to become major players in both conferences. The balance is shifting, with the East's teams burgeoning into powerhouses; the West is still at an advantage, but is no longer the playground bully. A win for the East after having the Cup stay in the West for so long would be huge, both for the Steelhawks and for the league as a whole.

And I firmly believe that Hamilton's time has come. This is the year of the Shitbird.

FUCK the Renegades. I can't believe those useless pieces of shit even made it to the playoffs, let alone the finals. I'm surprised they can find their way out of their locker room every game. The team has a collective IQ of 12. I'm pretty sure I get a little bit dumber every time I read one of Hallsy's posts. Their cup win last season was a fluke. And Whorevat's win before that was too. In fact, every time any of them has won a cup was a fluke. The sim is random. Yeah.

And who's that fucking scrub they have in goal? What kind of name is FourFour? I'm gonna guess they made that his jersey number too because he's too dumb to remember his last name AND a jersey number, so they figured they'd make it easy on him. Every game, they have to go make sure he's facing the right direction. Sometimes he starts facing the net and they have to go turn him around. The only reason he stops pucks is that he's a fatass and he covers most of the goal just by standing there. I'm pretty sure he doesn't actually move, he just lies there like a fucking snorlax.

So, yeah. Renegades suck. O'Doyle Rules. Tanner out.
