Coach says we are a bunch of hosers and need a day off. He suggested to go watch other sports teams play live to see how teams actually play together. Coach was recently pissed off as Kaiser and the Dragons took another W from us. I grabbed some tickets to the university volleyball national championships that were being held in Winnipeg. Volleyball is a great team sport unless you feel like playing like a dick and dumping the ball over on the first hit every single time. I love the sport for the team play, intensity and quick reactions. I asked people to come with, no one really wanted to. Visser asked if it was mens or womens, he would come if it was womens...we all know why. So he came along and creeped in a creepy way. We ate way too much concession hot dogs and tacos in a bag, got a little rowdy in the crowd, and got kicked out. Feels good to be on the fans side of things for once.

Scenario: We could all use a break from our own sport every once in a while. You've been given two tickets to go see another sports team in your city during an off weekend.

Written Task: Who do you go see play? Why does your player like this sport? Talk about your excursion in at least 150 words, including who you go see play, where, and who you take with you.

Lavelle took time out of his busy jesster winning SHL schedule to visit a team in the NSFL, the Yellowknife Wraiths. The Yellowknife Wraiths operate out Yellowknife in the NCT, Canada and are the NSFL's most notorious playoff chokers.

Lavelle was originally set to sign for the Yellowknife Wraiths way back in S1, till he suffered what could've been a career ending ACL and MCL tear which put his life on standby. During the rigorous rehab period he eventually fell in love with hockey and pursued it during his final year with the Wildcats.

Lavelle went to see the Yellowknife Wraiths who were fresh off their 13-1 season, the best they've had in their franchise history face the Philadelphia Liberty, Yellowknife had home field advantage and were odds on favorites to win.

Yellowknife of course went on to lose, as is tradition. Yellowknife will never win anything, Lavelle of course brought his long time friend Quick Mafs to the game to spectate with him and to also buy all the snacks.

Playing within the San Francisco Bay area, Chris Partridge has been afforded with a wealth of professional sports organizations that play within a relatively fair traveling distance of his humble lodgings. While he's made a point of it to attend as many of these sporting events as he reasonably can, lately he's found himself most drawn to the allure of the immensely dominant NBA team, the Golden State Warriors. In his constant pursuit of improving all facets of his game, Partridge has made a point of seeking out the elite athletes from all different disciplines and sporting events, in an attempt to incorporate new mental and physical aspects of their success into his own performance. While it may be considered bandwagonning to hop on the coat tails of one of the most successful NBA franchises in recent history, Partridge has been absolutely enthralled with not just work ethics and discipline of their star players, but also the general excitement of the sport itself which is one he hadn't really found much interest in prior to now.

Logan was invited out to Spain to watch his favorite Soccer club Barcelona shortly after they saw a video of him juggling and dribbling a soccer ball on his Instagram wearing a Neymar jersey since he has always been Logan’s favorite player. When Logan arrived in the city and instead of checking in to the hotel he immediately had to go see the Historical field Camp Nou. When he got through the doors and up the stairs to the top he was ecstatic to see the field it was better than on the television and pictures he had seen. The next day when the game started against the clubs rival Real Madrid it was a very slow first 20 minutes until a fast break occurred and Messi with his dribbling skills buried the ball in the back of the net and you could feel the whole stadium vibrating. Joining along in the songs and cheers he felt every minute of the game like none before then half game with a 1-0 game still. Getting down to 76th minute on a cross tipped Gareth bale from Real Madrid had the ball in his sights and he landed a perfect touch from the cart wheel kick to tie it. Around the 88th Barcelona is passing around trying to set something up when it gets to the 90th and 2 minutes get added and right before the ref is gonna blow the whistle Sergio Roberto gets tripped up 30 yards out everyone is on there feet when messi bends it over the wall perfectly and it lands perfectly in the top right corner and the stadium was on their feet screaming and cheering this has been the greatest game Logan has ever witnessed! ( Also if u didn’t see Bales insane fucking goals this month like gawd damn)

Conklin Owen is a man who enjoys competition at any level, honestly. It can range from a game of beer pong, to a game of hoops in the park, all the way up through professional sports. It's not just participating in the contests, either - Owen loves watching nearly just as much - picking a side and rooting for a win is one of the most enjoyable things going.

Of course, most of those things mentioned above one can see just about anywhere, but when it comes to Pro sports, Owen very much enjoys heading to England to watch a game of footy in the Premiere League. It's not something Owen gets to do often, but when he does, the destination is little old Leicester City, to catch a Foxes game. Owen isn't into following all the big clubs, it's just too easy - never any threat of relegation, no great sense of achievement in finishing top 10 in the table... A team like the Foxes, on the other hand, when they accomplish greatness, it's against all odds - as they did in 2016 in winning the Premiere League title. Plus, there's a personal connection, that he'd rather not get into. At any rate, there's 2 players in particular on that squad that Conklin most enjoys. First, the well known Jamie Vardy, who resembles Owen in not only his ability to manufacture goals, but also the tenacity with which he plays. The other is a much lesser known player - Marc Albrighton, who is a fantastic enabler of players like Vardy, but often goes unappreciated. Being a goal scorer himself, Owen appreciates the players that put in tremendous effort in the name of giving THEM a chance to finish well. Albrighton embodies that player to a T.

Frankly, only one other player has made the trip to Leicester, Jack Durden... begrudgingly, joined Owen once. Upon him saying it was a "small town with literally nothing to do", Conklin decided to let him go to whatever shitty little town he prefers to watch sports.

The city of Hamilton does not have that many sports options, the only other professional sports option that is not hockey is the Canadian Football League. The Hamilton Tiger Cats franchise has been pretty decent over the years, although Sami Owens is not really a fan of football at all. American Football for Sami just is not that entertaining, especailly the CFL, but it is a professional sport so. Sami Owens would go see the Hamilton Tiger Cats play to go watch former Heisman Trophy Winner and NFLer Jonny Football. Other than that there is no reason to go to the games. Sami Owens would take Ronnie Westbrook with him as Ronnie is a big football fan and the two would buy a big poporn bowl and share it during the game. They would also share a hotdog, Lady and the Tramp style. The game would consist of Sami Owens eating food while watching Jonny Football play.

Baseball in Edmonton is a silly thing. You see, it's incredibly cold, and there's no money to build a dome! So when you get to see a baseball game it's a real treat. On a partially warm day where the temperature hit a scorching 50 degrees TOR Tuck, Conner Tanner, Tigole Bitties and I went to take in the sights and sounds of Edmonton Baseball as they took on the Calgary shoehorn! We had a great time, it was fun! The ice blasts of Edmonton hit two home runs and Tigole got hit by a foul ball. We had a great time. So much fun. The ice blasts won and I got invited to throw out the first pitch at the next game, which may happen next week. Great times were had by all! We went back to the Edmonton hockey rink and got better and became great friends. Huge success for CHIPPY Chiclets!
