The Big Slappy Hour #143! (A Lone Light in the Darkness)

One by one they fall to the wayside. Abandoned, forgotten and left to gather dust.

One remains, to offer a lone and guttering candle flame to provide warmth in the cold depths of night. *

The Big Slappy Hour #143! The last podcast standing......for now

Good topics! I think this could be a change of the guard type season in fantasy.. allot of new players i suspect will emerge as fantasy relevant. It may be a good year to go off the board.

I agree for sure. I reached to nab Cameron Carter II, and I'm expecting to ditch one of Kurczewski or Hamilton.

Koenig left in the expansion draft, and while I did have 1600 TPE, that was pre regression. Visser, Schroder and Kurczewski are still all ahead of me from S31. I don't expect to catch any of them.

I think s31 guys, at this point, are starting to fade for the most part. The monster guys, like you mentioned above, are still strong, but the average guy is fading into irrelevancy. Expansion made a big difference in shuffling up the rosters and giving some lower tpe guys major minutes and responsibility as well. Makes for a more engaging draft, really. Mine has been slow as balls though.

I'm expecting my last season to be S52. Not sure about the other three. Everyone else will be gone before then other than *maybe* Alex Light.

The much more interesting race now is going to be where we all end up in the all time ranks. Visser could get very high if he continues to fight regression, although I'm genuinely expecting Nova to go flying past Anrikkanen at his current pace.

The all time defensemen point scoring, however, looks like this ((X) means still active, (I) means inactive but still playing, all others are retired);

1. Alonzo Garbanzo (973)
2. Darian Scherbluk (753)
3. Bubba Nuck (672)
4. Shawn Velevra (665)
5. Jasper Clayton (659)
6(X). Ben Dover (655)
7. Chris Partlow (641)
8. Willie Weber (638)
9. Wyatt Wollker (634)
10. Barney Stinson (590)
11. Big Manious (570)
12. Bojo Biscuit (561)
13(X). Alexis Metzler (559)
14. Brandon Cant (558)
14. Michael Boychuk (558)
16(I). Max Weber (549)
17(X). Ludwig Koch Schroder (547)
18. Roy Razin (545)
19. Vladimir Lidstrom (538)
20. Rembrandt Q. Einstein (515)
21(I). Toivo Kosonen (508)
22. Logan Valentine (499)
23. Klaus Wagner (474)
24(I). Adam Kaiser (495)
25. Winston Windsor (459)
26. Lukas Johnson (458)
27(I). Zander Rhys (458)
28. Lord Vader (456)
29. Mia Landvik (448)
30. Benjamin Reid (440)
31. Drizzy Drake (434)
32. Connor O'Rielly (430)
33. Jack Burton (426)
34. Steven Jalopski (421)
35. Jason Due (410)
36. Jackson Rogers-Tanaka (409)
37. Vladislav Smirnov (408)
38. Maria Maximova (492)
39. Mattias Holmberg (400)
40. Chuck Goody (393)
41. Aidan Richan (391)
42(I). Matthew Leetch (378)

While none of me, Schroder or Dover are likely to catch Garbanzo, I think we all have a fair shot at passing Scherbluk. The question is- what's the 2-3-4 order?

Good podcast! I've been tied down with my RL job, school, and my updating job (clearly) to do much more besides write a poem. Hahaha. But I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things in a few weeks, after I play my first *official* disc golf tournament in Western Michigan. Super pumped for that.

You guys keep on keepin' on. I will definitely try to think of some questions in the next few days. Cheers

That's the first time I've had to skip through the movie clip intro, so you've got that going for you.
