Luffy Richard hails from Orange County in sunny Southern California. Though his name is French, his parents immigrated from Latin America, and are proud to have raised a son who enjoys the only major sport they had never heard of before. Luffy was a quiet child. Even as his parents introduced him to sports such as baseball and football, he remained aloof. In school, he was nothing special. His aloof attitude towards homework, in-school detention, and anything outside of Pokemon lead him to the attitude that he wanted to be the very best. He quickly learned to play well with others, but the learning curve was steep.

The first time he discovered skates, he ascended towards the heavens, at least that is what he envisioned in his mind. In reality, he fell as much as everyone else, but the euphoric feeling kept him on the ice, to the concern of his parents who imagined a more scholastic career for him (meaning: one that wasn't so cold for them to attend). But it turned out he was talented with a stick. And so he began his journey as a hockey player where he continues his stick play with all the energy of someone who has just discovered what they can do with a stick. Yes.

Having forgotten everything that was written, and wanting to keep things loose and spontaneous, I...wait. Luffy us happy to announce he was been drafted by Vancouver and is now a whaler which is great because I love Moby Dick. Luffy likes Moby Dick. Whales are tight.
