After a long off season, the Tampa Bay Barracuda have finally begun practice for Season 54.

"It's been a long summer of training, so we're excited to get a jump on this season and really show everyone what we're made of. Lot of guys are missing some of the recently traded players, and a lot of people expect us to have very few wins this season. But, if we're diligent in our training, we can really improve as individuals and hopefully we won't end the season winless"

"It's crazy to think that summer is already over and pre-season is right around the corner. Seemed like yesterday the Steelhawks won the S53 Challenge Cup" said Sophmore Tom Fiddler. "Though, this summer did seem rather long, and at times very cold, which is odd for a Tampa Bay summer".

"We got a lot of cobwebs to shake out, so it's good to get back on the ice and see the guys again", said Michael Fitted

It is as of yet unclear as to whether or not Tampa Bay realizes what day it is or if this joke needs to be explained to the audience.
