THE LONG STRANGE JOURNEY OF AN S57 DRAFT PICK (725 words)
and the ensuing trade tree

Recently, as part of a trade, Winnipeg received their own S57 2nd round draft pick from Toronto.

The funny thing is, I never traded that pick to TOR, so I started wondering how they came to be in possession of it.
So I started looking into it, and realized that this simple, unassuming pick, had been on an SHL journey which had numerous stops and tangential ripples around the league.
