With what happened today, we as an organization cannot condone what was done and are releasing Darwin Koff from his contract. Calgary is a close knit group that welcomes in everyone.. and we will continue to be... I hope that Lobs gets a chance to apologize at some point and does his best to make amends for what was done.. because those that truly learn from their mistakes and work hard to correct there errors are deserving of a 2nd chance.

Following the Calgary Dragon's statement on releasing Darwin Koff from their team, the Vancouver Whalers support the actions of the Calgary Dragons and SHL Head Office. The Whalers have a long and diverse history and we pride ourselves in our welcoming community where people can be open and feel accepted. Lobbanet's recent actions do not reflect the morals of the organization. We hope he is able to think about his actions, seek ways to apologize to those affected, and exhibit change not just by words, but by meaningful actions. Vancouver has no intentions on signing Koff for the upcoming S62 SMJHL season.

Following the statements from both the Calgary Dragons and the Vancouver Whalers, the simming teams have decided effective immediately to delete Darwin Koff from both leagues in FHM.

Following the following statements from Kalakar following the statements from vancouver following the calgary dragons statements, The Tom Fiddler School for Kids Who Want To be Unlikable Monsters Who Will Die In a Ditch Someday are releasing Lobbanet from the program as he has nothing left to learn. we have awarded him a PhD in homophobia with a minor in ass-hattery. We will watch his career with great interest.

Disagree, he received a heavier punishment than usual (well deserved, to be fair), and there are active members who were in similar positions in the past that took their second chances well. The guy has no wiggle room, and he’ll either quit anyway, shape up, or say dumb shit again and get booted. Also it sets a good precedent that in extreme dumbfuckery, HO can and will levy heavier punishments

The fact that he might quit anyway shouldn't be the solution. He shouldn't be welcomed here at all.

Full agree. But, there are other users who have commented in this post that have been homophobic and racist, multiple times, that haven't been perma-banned yet.
