As announced during the trade deadline, Brick Wall's career is coming to an end following the S73 Challenge Cup playoffs. Wall looks to help Atlanta return to the mountaintop, while finally securing the biggest prize in the SHL for himself (and micool). Wall's career had plenty of highlights: WJC gold with the British Isles, a Four-Star Cup finals appearance with Great Falls, an SMJHL All-Star Game, 4 SHL All-Star Games, 1 time 3rd team All-SHL, 1 time 2nd team All-SHL, 4 time 1st team All-SHL, 1 time Ron Mexico Award nominee, 2 time Mike Honcho Trophy winner, and 4 time John McBride winner (plus a 5th nomination). In retirement, Wall will hope to spend time traveling with his family, as his son, Brick Wall Jr. begins his career in the SSL Academy system, following his father's footsteps as a goalkeeper.

On a personal note: I never imagined back two years ago that after signing up for this weird role-playing sim league thing I saw on reddit, that I'd still be here and so actively involved. It just goes to show how many great people are here that make me want to stay. I'm going to list out some names I want to call out and thank, but there's so many others who I won't list that I'm thankful I've gotten to talk with and share the league with:

@Chevy & @Fluw - it all started with you two, you brought me into GFG as the backstop to a new team looking for an identity. The locker room was such a vibe, and you two were the spark that has ignited my love for the league. Will always were my IRL Grizzlies jersey with pride.
@ACapitalChicago - oh captain my captain. You and Badwolf brought me on as an intern for JHO, and then fully on as a member. Being engaged behind the scenes of the J has been so incredibly rewarding for me, and I can't thank you enough for giving me that purpose in this league. And Cap, I really consider you a friend and I'm happy to have gotten to know you and play what has to be considered a disturbing amount of Spirit Island together.
@Off - you've gotten me addicted to board games, thanks for that
@Inf1d3l @CampinKiller @Benpachi - What can I say, Infi, you brought me into MTL, and you laid down the foundation that CK and Roddy took and grew into a powerhouse. Montreal will always be home for me, and I can't wait to see what the next rebuild produces.
The entire S62 class - we truly took over this sight. I think there's an S62 (or former S62) in nearly ever single type of job available. You have all been such great friends, and I can only hope the S75 class treats me as well. But don't worry, I'll still be around in the S62 channel.

Like I said, I can't name every name, but for anyone who has interacted with me in the SHL: thank you.

Way to make me feel old. It was just yesterday, I scouted you and had a gut feeling you'd be a gem. And then the bofa bamboozle. Enjoy retirement on Wall. Your'e still a bust tho, and I look forward to scouting you again when you recreate

The end of an epic career. One of the best I had the privilege of early mentoring about goalies, and your continued presence and participation in GFG is a blessing (that’s an understatement)
