EIHL, not NHL, but former Penguin Adam Johnson tragically passed away after an on-ice accident yesterday. Don’t go looking for the video, it’s very NSFL.

So truly sad. I genuinely hope some positive change can come out of such a senseless loss. I played goalie for years and years and remember the Malarchuk incident so I could never understand why goalies (or players) would ever not wear a neck guard. I hope it becomes mandatory at all levels.
