As you may or may have not noticed I changed the team this past offseason after some really great seasons with New Orleans Specters, which I'm very thankful to both teammates and General Managers. I always wanted to play for the San Francisco Pride, so I'm thankful for that opportunity too.

The main reason for a change though was that one of the SHL Legends Retired recently and S51 just didn't feel the same without playing together. I'm speaking of course about Oisin Fletcher, just to name S42 MVP winner and a ton of other individual accolades, but most importantly to me a player I spent my first 9 seasons in the league playing with. We never played against each other in SHL, though there were some IIHF rivalry if you can call Ireland winning it over and over again a rivalry. She was basically a reason I stayed active here throughout my career and was more than happy to follow the footsteps after being drafted to the Wolfpack back in S41. Somewhere along that journey I made a promise to only play with Fletcher while his career is still ongoing.
To preface the article further, it's focused on just the mentioned in the title players, but I made many more fantastic acquaintances through this SHL journey.

So let's go back on this journey to the first game we played together, which was during S42 Playoffs, when I debuted during S42 Challenge Cup vs Calgary Dragons -  1st Line LW Oisin Fletcher, 3rd Line RW Piotr Czerkawski
Wolfpack went two games up after heroics from Oisin:

Czerkawski tried his best during G3, while Fletcher was focused on other areas, but New England Wolfpack lost that game in 4th OT!

It was the turning point of the series though since Calgary won the next three games and secured the title.
As you can see Oisin was already established 1st line star then that won MVP during the regular season that year, while Czerkawski was a newcomer from SMJHL scrapping to earn his minutes on 3rd line. We had to wait for their first shared point for a while.

SHL S43 -  1st Line LW Oisin Fletcher, 3rd Line RW Piotr Czerkawski
As it turned out it was the only full season we played together down in New England, that they were playing on different lines. Once more they haven't been able to score together, albeit it came down to minutes in second last game of that season:

Wolfpack failed to qualify to the playoffs, 6th in their East Conference with a record of 21-25-4. Oisin Fletcher led the team with 23 goals and 24 assists, while Czerkawski had rather expected rookie season with 8 assists and 8 goals.

Offseason between S43 & S44 was quite tumultuous, but just let me say it ended up with us switching teams and taking our services to the Edmonton Blizzard, Western Conference powerhouse.
SHL S44 1st Line C Oisin Fletcher, 3rd Line LW Piotr Czerkawski
Turned out it was just what they needed to unlock the partnership, since the first goal for EDM that season during the first game of the season was made by those two, so after playing 56 games together it was finally a moment it clicked.

However, it was only such an event during S44, still, it was quite a successful season team-wise as EDM won the president's trophy and in the playoffs however the favored EDM team was upset by the Winnipeg team that won it all.
Oisin Fletcher had a fantastic campaign with 27 goals and 31 points, once again leading the team, while Piotr noticed an improvement to 9 goals scored while being far more proficient passer with 19 assists.

SHL S45 1st Line C Oisin Fletcher, 1st Line LW Piotr Czerkawski
S45 went down in history as one of the best in league history, both with an otherworldly record of 41-6-3 and winning the Challenge Cup later. It was really stacked teams and point totals of individual players kind of suffered because of that, but it was also the first season Oisin and Piotr were able to play together for an extended period of time:

Individually though it was tough, since Fletcher got only (for the standards we were accustomed to) 41 points, while Czerkawski regressed even worse, to below rookie numbers having just 8 goals and 6 assists.
Still, you can't call that season lost one if you win it altogether. Edmonton did that, dispatching Panthers in 4 games and then having series of maximum length vs both Renegades and West Kendall to secure the Challenge Cup, while actively helping that goal:

S46 brought a big change to the SHL with two new teams joining the league in the most recent expansion. Chicago Syndicate and New Orleans Specters. The latter become a force in the SHL from the start, in part because they selected Oisin Fletcher in the expansion draft and were able to secure Czerkawski's services in the free agency, among other savvy moves to bring many SHL veterans on board.

For the better part of the season, they played together on the first line and only later the switch was made to split them up. The Specters in the inaugural season were quite successful, finishing with 58 points, good for 2nd place in stacked Western Conference. Individually though, neither eclipsed 40 points with Fletcher finishing with 39 (16 G + 23 A) and Piotr having still far better season than last year in EDM with 38 points, including 15 goals and 23 assists:

In the playoffs, Specters had fantastic run for new team and only Buffalo was able to stop them before winning the Cup in the first year of existence in 7 games effort.

SHL S47  2nd Line C Oisin Fletcher, 1st Line RW Piotr Czerkawski
This was the breakout year for the Czerkawski with 58 points and his first SHL All-star nod, while playing alongside MVP DeMaricus Smyth. Fletcher, now in the regression, still was invaluable to the team success, with 45 points, good for 3rd place on the team that finished 1st in the Western Conference. However, due to playing different lines the whole year, there weren't any shared goals between the two.
Playoffs were a bit different story and despite Top seed in Divisional Service Texas Renegades won it in 7 games.

SHL S48  2nd Line C Oisin Fletcher, 1st Line LW Piotr Czerkawski
Once again S48 saw the specters at the top of the conference and this time fantastic 2nd line was carrying the team, with Fletcher having an outstanding +/- of +30 while scoring 45 points (21 G, 24 A). Piotr wasn't as successful that year as before, but still one of his good years with 44 points (21 G & 23 A). Just a single empty net opportunity between those two that season.

In the playoffs, it was Winnipeg Jets that stopped Piotr & Oisin once again, in 7 games during the Western Conference Championship series.

SHL S49  1st Line LW Oisin Fletcher, 1st Line C Piotr Czerkawski
For the 4th time in a row, New Orleans was able to secure the divisional title, tough in a bit different, more defensive focused this time around. Czerkawski was moved to the C in the offseason and was able to play on the same forward line for one final time while Fletcher returned to the original assignment as LW. Piotr finished with 40 points (15 G, 25 A) & Fletcher with 37 (21 G, 16 A) and the had record season together:

The final season for the Oisin also was the first in which Specters didn't clinch the divisional win. They played quite a bit together, but in different roles, as Fletcher moved to the defense on the retirement tour. With fantastic passing for sure, as the 32 assists suggest, helped Czerkawski to propel him into MVP conversation with 57 points, including league-leading 27 goals alongside 30 assists:

And so with that series, the partnership that lasted 8 regular seasons ended (and the same amount of playoff runs) ended.
In 400 regular season games together they won 242 of them and had 30 OTL good for 64,25% percentage, of course, it was thanks to many other great players, GMs, etc., but shows it was quite a dominant run.
I listed all shared points between them, but just to summarize that too:
In Regular Season they scored 60 points together: 22 were Oisin goals, while 24 were scored by Czerkawski. They assisted together on 12 goals made by other teammates.
In the playoffs, there were 11 such occasions: 7 Fletcher goals, 3 by Czerkawski and 1 by Lil Manius.
