Just to clarify some things so we're all on the same page and hopefully this gives clarity to the situation and lessens the tension because negativity towards juke is not fair and I hope this sets things straight. Going into the escalation of picks we were under the impression that everyone was on the same playing field and that there would be an embracing of the locker room and an open mind about extensions down the line. Trade talks continue for a few days where the known offer of three 1sts and four 2nds was reached an offer that couldn't be matched (probably could but peeps were chicken)
Juke fills us in that he actually would prefer chicago as his destination and that he would be all in for us for the next three seasons then would very likely be heading to chicago after those three seasons. upon finding this out we immediately pulled our offer.
