My words were plenty clear, you just interpreted them wrong. That doesn't make me wrong. Russia is banned from the olympics but the Russian Athletes can still participate. Even though Russia is banned. Because Russia is the state. Not the people.


@luke - if you truely think this is about patting yourself on the back then I dont know what to tell you. We accept this arguement when its aimed at removing, for example, distasteful names in the league but making the same argument about a symbol is somehow pandering for likes?

It’s just performative if we change the name. I don’t agree with making Cal change his name or Letsgobrandon from changing his. What I did care about was something like cumharvester because it’s just a name that shouldn’t be here. If we change the name to Russia to ROC or whatever, it still says Russian Olympic Committee. It’s just a name. No one on team Russia is cheering for the destruction of the Ukraine. It’s just a fake sim league.


Idk why this thread is on why Russia should be banned or changed the name. It’s about sympathy for the Ukrainian people.
