I thought I could play through it, but the past few months have been a relentless cycle of declining health, financial loss, a housing crisis and family deaths that have all combined to take a toll. Whether I like it or not, it's time to step back, process and try to heal as much as possible. I may return in the future with another player, but in the meantime, thank you to everyone who helped make the SHL a positive experience in my life.
