7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube
-To verify, please do one of the following and post it in your rookie tasks claim:
      - Write 150 words about the games that happened during the stream
      - Create a 2-min podcast about the stream
      - Create a graphic about your favorite part of the stream ( please post the graphic in the rookie task claim thread and not as a graphics submission)

I watched the August 25th SMJHL stream, and one of the games that happened was the Great Falls Grizzlies against the Yukon Malamutes. The first team to score was the Malamutes, with a goal from The Great Khali. They scored again through Alvin Wong, going 2-0 up in the first period. The Grizzlies were able to limit the damage to just those two goals in the 1st period, though. Penalties for both teams early in the 2nd period had them in a 4v4 scenario that ended up in nothing for either team, with the score still at 2-0. Then with 4 minutes left in the period, the Grizzlies pulled one back, and a minute later made it level. The Malamutes would get a power play soon after, and capitalize on it to once again take the lead of the game. In the 3rd period, another power play for the Malamutes ended in a goal, which made the score 4-2, and the Grizzlies were back in the 2 goal deficit they had crawled out of in the 2nd period. They were able to get one goal back with 10 minutes to go, but it didn't matter in the end because at the very end the Malamutes got their 5th goal and that ended it. Final score of the game was 5-2.

Rookie Task #5 - https://simulationhockey.com/showthread....pid3415152

Rookie Task #7 - The Semifinals between the Nevada Battleborn and the St. Louis Scarecrows was a riveting back and forth series. Before this stream, the series was even 2-2, so you knew that the final day of the stream covering games 5, 6 (and hopefully 7) was going to be a good one.

Game 5 saw Nevada going down early in the 1st period, going 2 goals against the Scarecrows' three. Nevada, however, had three unanswered goals in the second and third periods to take the first game (and getting on match point) 5-3.

Game 6 however, was a huge shot to the confidence of the Battleborn, as the Scarecrows blanked and dominated them throughout the whole game, eventually winning 5 goals to nothing. The Scarecrows had five different players score goals, and that shows that a team effort really does win games.

Game 7 was a doozy, both teams had a ton of chances, had a ton of power plays (I don't know how many I counted but there were a lot), but in the end the Scarecrows won the game IN OT 3 to 2, sending them to the finals.

Thanks for the stream, it was very fun to watch some playoff action.

That should hopefully be all of them!
