I never really watched a lot of streams but the first one I did watch outside of the draft was S73 SMJHL Regular Season Day 3.
I had some free time that day so I decided to watch the stream since I had nothing else to do. I am used to the VHL way where
you don't have the visuals, so seeing the ice and the players like an actually overhead style video game camera it really
surprised me.

The Grizzlies vs the Elk ended in a big 6-2 victory for Great Falls. Jani Manty picked up a hatty in that game. Up next we
had the Battleborn take on the Citadelles which was another high scoring game ending 8-6 for the Battleborn. This game made
me realize that there were on ice "advertisements" which really helped me realize how much effort is put into the sims. I
wont go through every game but I will talk about Colorado. The Raptors which is the team I am on had a rough start to the
season which followed us into the game in a 5-4 loss against the Elk. That also followed us into our next game which was a
4-3 loss against the Timber.

This was a great sim experience for me especially being used to the boring VHL one.

7.  I watched just about every stream I could, but the last regular season stream really stuck. I had made predictions against my own team based on the record from the rest of the regular season, but I was proven happily wrong by QCC scoring early in the first and second periods against Regina (and then managing a comeback win). Thank God for that, because hearing that “na na na na” was getting old.
That was followed by a Vancouver/GFG game. I love Vancouver’s ice, I think it’s really cute, and it was whiplash to go from that to the chaos that is Nevada ice. 
A lot of the fun of watching streams, for me, is the chaos that ensues in the locker room during our games, with a whole lot of yelling in the chat when somebody scores a goal. (And it’s always better when the names are popped up, because I like trying to track who scored the goal before we get the score notification pop-up.)

7. I watched the following stream, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YphQXTH-bb0, and to be real, I only watched the Kraken related sections. I'm self centred what can I say.

So to start we have game 5, big Kraken come back. Down two to zero early, giving up a lil goal on the PK, but they bounced back. Rence got er started and I believe that got followed up by a Kirkpatrick and Mograine within 5 real life seconds of each other (I was behind on the stream and the LR definitely made it feel like it was 5 seconds from seeing one goal to the next). Then a little DOB goal and a Kastraba goal, and that's a win. I don't really want to talk about the rest of the games since Carolina lost here. Not as enjoyable to watch cause of that.

Either way, sim went as sim goes with Carolina getting the early lead 2-0, and then were trailing before the end of the 1st. Just out of control from there. 6-2 halfway through the 3rd, Nevada just never looked back. Even in to game 7 there wasn't much cooking for Carolina unfortunately. Got scored on first and just couldn't overcome that as Nevada just stifled em. I pray reliving this moment is worth the million tbh.

There are many observations that can be made about the end of the second round: the stinky birds getting swept by Maine (suckerssssss!!!), the Malamutes proving my Completely Legitimate Statistical Analysis to have more basis in reality than even I thought, and the constant back-and-forth blowouts in Newfoundland v. Regina, I have to give this blurb to the capstone to the craziest series we're likely to see all postseason. The ultimate David vs. Goliath matchup winds up with David falling just short of the unimaginable; Great Falls losing 3 of 3 and falling (heh) to Vancouver in 7. Vancouver looked practically immortal during the regular season, so entering game 5 down 3-1 was a massive shock. The Grizzlies, try as they might couldn't keep the magic going forever - the overtime loss in game 4 must have broken them somehow. In games 5-7, there was only one game in which they ever had a lead in, game 6 (in which they managed to blow two leads for good measure!). Unfortunately, 'tis the way of the underdog. Just as in the NHL and the NBA in the past season, regression to the mean can happen at any time. Statistics is a cruel mistress.
