John Scott was previously asked by both NHL and Arizona Coyotes to bow out of NHL All-Star Game. He refused. Trade likely takes care of that

The #habs sent John Scott to AHL St. John's and aren't likely to recall him. That would make him ineligible for the NHL all-star game.

 

well thats what wrong with the ASG, they let the people speak and they spoke, they dont like what was said and now they have to move this guy from ARI where he was happy and had a life in an area he has been in for a bit 3+ seasons. idk, just seems dumb, let the man play in the ASG.

Also being an all-star should mean something in the league. for the most part most people that go deserve to go. It would've been funny to see Scott in the ASG but it kinda makes the league a joke.
