Komarov has been making faces bleed since he was playing in beer leagues as a 4 year old in Russia. This guy will break your shoulder pads with his body checks and that's if you're lucky, you'll probably catch an elbow to the jaw due to his mammoth size. Komarov has been protecting goalies with his bud Jean-Luc Reflieux since the pair lifted the 4 star Cup with Halifax back in Season 30.
Komarov plays a strong defensive game and doesn't try to outplay his role. He knows what his job is on the ice and he plays the role in excellent fashion. Speaking of fashion, Komarov is known to sport Mink coats and is easily the best dressed player in the SHL.
