Written Task: If you are in the SHL, the league has asked that you to choose a player in the SMJHL to take in, work withand put in some difficult life skill situations which may come up in the future.. and see how they handle it.. and in 150+ words explain how it all worked out!? Who did you choose and what made you choose them? What did you both do during the week? Did you put him in some difficult situations? what did they struggle with and what did they do well at? What were your final conclusions of your mentorship with this player? (*tag player involved)
Now that we are a season away from seeing Esa Parmborg @Steelhead77, making his debut with the Calgary Dragons, Nicky Pedersen Jr. decided to have the young center spend the week in Calgary, to get himself familiar with the city he will call home for the duration of his SHL Career. Clearly, Peds Jr.'s goal was make young Parmborgs transition to the SHL as easy as possible. As the current placeholder for Parmborg at #2 center, Pedersen wants that transition to be seamless, so he can go back to his natural position on the wing. While in Calgary for the week, Parmborg was shown all of the hot local spots, including all the places that Alex Mack has "been". He knows to stay away from these establishments, unless he wants to end up having to get a shot of penicillin. Now that young Esa has gotten his initial look at Calgary, more importantly, where he can find the best Parm Sandwiches, we have no worries that when the young centerman gets the call, he will be able to immediately step in and contribute to the amazing success of the young Calgary Dragons roster. |
