RE: Minnesota GM Hiring Reaction - Gwdjohnson - 04-28-2025 Wally with the victim card word salad You lost a trade buddy that's all there is to it RE: Minnesota GM Hiring Reaction - trella - 04-28-2025 Also, I wanna say that I think we as a community should be kinder to each other and that includes how we interact with HO, but I can also understand how it gets to this point due to a power imbalance. HO will always get it worse because they hold the power to make decisions and other users feel powerless other than yelling at them, so they yell. Now does that make it right for people to be mean? No not really. But it’s a part of the responsibility of being in HO and it’s how the world works. Well, that's the thing. We hadn't seen much stability in Minnesota. Waters had only even been co-GM for one season, this wasn't a well-established, long-term Co-GM that we unseated out of spite. We saw that Minnesota had been exactly the opposite of stable, for a very long time. And that's not a shot at Waters, because again, he was a relative newcomer to this. And yes, HO should be prepared to receive criticism for decisions. But criticism and insult are not the same thing. I am not trying to make this "about" how HO feels, I'm just pointing out that the "there's a real person behind the user" thing goes both ways.
