I haven't come out and said anything about this in public, but the speculation of the Renegades moving me in hopes of expediting a rebuild and finding me a cup was 100% real. In the end it was just too hard to leave the team that I've put a lot into and there really weren't any great offers out there anyway tbh.
This could be one of the biggest what ifs in SHL history, I mean even after winning I understand how unlikely it was that we would win a cup this season, but as they say everything does happen for a reason. Who knows what would have happened if I was to be traded, but there are many paths to success, this was our path and I couldn't see it happen any other way.

Gustavo has always been a guy to fly under the radar, but it's impossible to argue with the stats, if he isn't the best goalie in the league, he's damn near it. What he did in the play-offs was earth shattering and I will be shocked and appalled if he doesn't win MVP. He deserves a ton of credit for all the successes we've had in Texas, we wouldn't be here without him.

The Wolfpack have come a long way from beginnings as the Thunder/Hydras. A great young core with a lot of great guys, you put up a hell of a fight and have a great future to look forward to. I wish you guys best of luck in the future and maybe we can meet again in the Finals next season

I'm not really sure, everything that has happened is still very fresh and we're still really hoping to see Partlow back in black and silver for the foreseeable future. I think this will help our case but in the end anything can happen.
