Usually the stars on AHL teams are getting paid around 250k because they are expected to lead the team, with the understanding they likely won’t be called up. Even most two way contracts you see where an nhl team signs a 28 year old is set up where he is making around 250k in AHL. That said, give me the nhl league minimum to watch hockey and start bench clearing brawls
