I think the St. Louis GMs did a really good job of bringing in players this season that encouraged a fun lockerroom environment. It makes following the site easier when you have a fun group of people to interact with

@sköldpaddor 's pride skates are what got me to rejoin the league; I remembered the site being a really toxic place, but seeing those and the reactions to them really showed how far the community had come in the 6 years I'd been away. I actually felt as if I could come back and not be constantly getting into fights on the forums over people saying ignorant stuff, like was the case back in the day.

I would like to thank Trevor Lahey first (DigDoug11) and foremost. Without him I would not be in this league and not be in the position I am in now. Secondly to Sburbine for helping me out and also getting me started and making sure my updates are good. Honestly this site does a great job of getting newbies off the ground and everybody is more than willing to help.
