RE: S44 SHL Awards Show - DeletedAtUserRequest - 12-28-2018 ![]() Oisin Fletcher - Jay McDonald Award Our final non voted on prize is known as the Jay McDonald Trophy which goes to the leagues top goal-scorer for the season! That award falls to Oisen Fletcher of the Edmonton Blizzard who lit the lamp 27 times in 44, 2 more then WKP forward Alex Light! Fletcher is putting together an envious assamble of indivigual hardware.. with this being her 2nd award of the evening. Congrats @Evok ! and the excitement builds as we move to the voted on awards section of our show starting with the Jeff Dar award which goes to the best 2 way forward. Talk about Muchizmo!.. This season may boast the best set of nominations in quite a while as all 4 were deviant 200 feet players on the ice, each likely being the top candidate in a past season. Our 4 nominees are... This is back to back Jeff Dar awards for #9 who in his prime has become one of the best players in the world. This season Forsberg dropped 53 points and 234 hits with 13 power play points and 100 minutes on the PK.. abrasive numbers worthy of the Dar. Congrats @Insayne ! Like clockwork our SIM's are up everyday at 6:09 AM eastern and before 10 AM on the weekends without worry or error. Evok makes one of our leagues most difficult jobs look easy.. thank you and congratulations! McIntyre went from 23 points to 48 this season which includes 64 blocks, 108 penalty kill minutes and a +18 when on the ice! McIntyre was a star in 44 and someone truly deserving of this honor.
