It doesn't matter what it is, he asked him to stop. I totally agree it is thin skinned, but people have different tolerances for these things. If someone asks you to stop doing something to them, maybe just stop?
If Gabe has a serious issue with it and asked people to stop it would be a different story, but from what I can tell it doesn't bother him.
