In the future, technology will advance to the point where either robots overtake humanity entirely or we merge with robotic minds as a last-ditch effort to preserve our species. We're not quite there yet, but the PT department is nudging us ONE STEP CLOSER. That's right, we're semi-automating the Playoff Bracket this season. Except it's not really automating, because it'll still be graded manually. The difference is that doing it this way, through Forms, collects all the results together and allows us to mass grade by column instead of manually grading every single individual's submission by hand. This will cut down our grading effort (and risk of human error) massively. I recognize there are some downsides here, namely that people won't be able to copy/paste predictions anymore, but we've made the form pretty easy to follow (just click shit) and I think the time and accuracy gains outweigh the copy/paste burden.
