San Francisco announce changes in Management - Henrik - 09-03-2020
Good Afternoon all, TG here.
It is my sad duty today to inform you all that my Co-GM, @DaftRaincloud, will be stepping down from his current position in team management. Daft indicated to me earlier in the season that he had lost much of the drive and passion for the league that he previously had and therefore felt that taking a break from this side of the sim would be beneficial for him and for the team. Daft has been a part of the San Francisco for my entire tenure with the team and when I found out I got the job earlier during this season I knew that I would want him as my Co. I also feel like it is important to point out that Daft was very much all in on the idea of turning this ship around when I asked him to stay on as Co but due to some of the events that have transpired since then, he simply lost that fire. I’ve been lucky enough to multiple great managers during my short time in this community. The way Daft carried himself in the LR and the way he went about working for the team definitely had an impact on me and will be something that I carry with me for the rest of my tenure with the Pride. His dedication to the team and to its players has been nothing but first-rate and I want to thank him thoroughly for all the hard work he’s done for the team over the seasons.
Approximately three weeks ago I began looking for a replacement internally and one particular user caught my eye early. I am extremely excited to announce that @AgentSmith630, our previous 1OA draft, will be joining me in running the San Francisco Pride from this point on. He has been very active in our rather quiet LR from day one and I’ve been lucky enough to follow his career quite closely over the last couple of seasons, sharing multiple other LR’s with him and really getting a feel for the kind users Agentsmith is. I think his resume speaks for itself at this point. I really look forward to working more with him these coming seasons and together we will continue to right the ship in the hopes that San Francisco will be a successful franchise sooner rather than later.
