Went from 47th highest scoring D to 6th highest scoring D, doesn't even get a nom.

There was a run-off for Most Improved Nomination, and O'Shea was included in that, but ultimately did not win it in order to be included in final voting.

That really doesn't help much. Like O'shea/Barrett/Watcher had an 23 point improvement but in the FHM era a 23 point improvement is much more impressive. Again O'shea was 47th in D scoring and he became one of the best offensive D in the league without any powerplay time.

Sucks that this award has became so forward driven.
