[WJC Double Media] Three-peat - mee - 12-01-2023
OMG there it is. We have done it. A freakin three peat. USA! USA! USA! I can hardly hear myself think. Getting a third gold medal handed to me. But alas, this is it. No more WJCs and it'll be some time until I crack the IIHF roster. But for now. We did it.
Right at the start of the third frame. Down 2-1. Coming off the rowdy feelling in the locker room that it's time to get this back under control. I knew I hadn't scored like I was doing for the Armada, partially by design of course, and being only on PP2, but still. We broke into the zone. Thomas hits me with a back pass. I one-time the puck with as much as I can possible put behind it. Red light is on. LETS GO. Group hug, fist pumps down the line. But that's just one.
Mid-way through the frame. PP2 hopping over the boards. Structure breaks down. All of a sudden it's a 2 on 1. Trevor hits me with the puck. Red Light.
