A New Experience - Seany148 - 03-16-2024
Well, this is something I feared. For the past three seasons. I’ve wanted to test Free Agency at some point since I’ve joined the league, this was one of my three main goals. My other two were winning a cup, and becoming a general manager. Well, it turns out this will be a three in one as we won the Cup this week – let's go team, love y’all!!! I also became a main GM through very legal means (it's costly to bribe HO nowadays) -- WITH NO INTENT OF LEAVING VANCOUVER, so that leaves… Free Agency. Some might say it's a betrayal to the team that bet on you when virtually no one would, some others say it’s a way for the player to live something new. I think it's both, and my heart bleeds when I think about what next season will be, possibly away from my fellow Panthers. We just won a cup, why would I walk away from a dynasty to become? Blame past Seany for that, I’ve annoyed Fuzz with the idea of testing for a while now, and yeah, that's solely my fault. That's not to say something happened in Los Angeles, in fact I’m not closing the door on returning there! I love every single teammates of mine, with a special nod to my linemates @Frenchie and @Otrebor13, let's go French line!! I also want to thank @FuzzSHL a lot for just… taking a chance when my future in the league was still very uncertain. I loved my time in LA and if this is the end, I have nothing negative to say, it's a formidable team and locker room.
With that being said, as I am testing Free Agency, I do not have a team in mind yet. Some teams have already contacted me, so this isn't completely new to the GMs, but yeah, I don't really know what to add, once again this isn't a farewell to Los Angeles, nor me announcing that I will be going to a certain team in particular. If you are a GM and wish to talk to me, feel free to do so, as my GM has given permission to teams to talk to me (out of respect, I’d ask you to let Fuzz know, I’ll be informing him either way), and if you're a player and want to legally tamper me, have fun.
Once again, I love y'all, I love this league, and if this is the end, I've loved every second of my time in LA.
