A GM Presser: The Next Chapter - Wally - 01-25-2025

Well it has been a few seasons since I abruptly had to step away from Toronto after working through much of a rebuild. Now the new chapter begins with Baltimore and a new set of challenges, albeit in the same conference.

It was a great time in New Orleans in working with the strats for a season… I’ve always had a love for Joe and his efforts in the league. Was great to see NOLA take the division and the excitement with a bunch of great users.

Happy to answer any questions on really any subject!

In how many warroom positions were you in SHL history by now? Surely you are up there now in SHL history for most warroom positions (Coach/Co/Head GM).

How many first round picks will Baltimore have to give up to get your generational player out of New Orleans, and will that hurt the rebuild? Tongue

Hey, welcome to the Platoon, general

Which NHL team is your favorite?
What has been your best SHL moment so far?
What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken?

As a new user who was not there for the vast majority of your "career." When did you know being a GM was for you and when did you know you wanted to return to it in Baltimore?

And another question, apart from the obvious goals of "Making the team better, winning the cup" are there any goals you have with Baltimore, especially as someone who has been in this spot before?

Finally, thoughts on this quote: "No matter how many times you get burnt, man, you just keep on doin’ the same."
