Come one, come all to the newest and brightest addition to the SHL Casino!
Yes, the expansion news is exciting.
Yes, we all can’t wait to transition to FHM10.
But that's all old news.
The SHL Casino is excited to bring you something that will surely be more exciting than expansion and FHM10! We are excited to announce the first season of the In Season Cup (ISC) Competition.
What is the In Season Cup?
The ISC is a fictional cup that gets passed between teams throughout the regular season. At the start of a season, the team that won the league cup the previous season will hold the “In-Season Cup” (e.g. The Carolina Kraken won the Four Star Cup in S81, so they will start the S82 regular season holding the ISC). They will hold the ISC until beaten, earning a point each in-sim day they hold the ISC. When the team holding the ISC loses, the opposing team will take the ISC, earning the point for that day and continuing to earn points until they lose. This continues until the last day of the regular season. For each day that a team holds the ISC, they will earn a point.
Participants will be placed in groups where a snake draft will occur. Participants will draft teams one at a time until the specified number of teams has been drafted. Participants will earn a point for each day one of their teams holds the cup. At the end of the season, there will be 2 winners from each group:
- The participant who has the most points
Tiebreaker questions will be used to break any ties between users after the regular season has ended.
- The participant who has the team that finishes the regular season with the ISC
What does it cost and what’s in it for you?
The ISC is free! Nothing is better than free! Joining the ISC in S82 will cost you absolutely nothing.
Okay, somethings are better than free. Winning money is better! The two winners (see above of how two winners will be decided) will each walk away with $2,000,000 SHL currency. Wow! Can you believe that?! How generous! And yes, if you manage to win both aspects of your group, you will get a cool $4,000,000.
