STL and NLB - Illegal Lines - Reno - 05-06-2025
Good evening,
Earlier today, SMJHL Head Office discovered that two teams had lines violations.
Both St. Louis and Newfoundland were found to be playing inactive users over active users on their special teams lines. This is in violation of Rule 2.e.vii.3 "For special teams units, active players must be played on a higher line/pair than inactive players."
These infractions both fall into the 33-66 regular-season games bracket of "Illegal Roster" punishments which is a 4m fine.
Both the Newfoundland GMs and St. Louis GMs are welcome to appeal by reaching out to @DrunkenTeddy or any other member of the appeals team.
