Honestly, I think the real rumors should be about PC and Claude. I mean, Cam Neely was obviously thinking about firing Julien, when PC comes out and says "As long as I'm here, Julien is here". What kind of GM tethers himself to a Coach that is ruining our future prospects?? I don't think they'll resign PC next season and then they'll fire Julien. It took us what, three years for Julien to finally bite and say, "Ok guys, go play offense I guess". Seriously, all of our achievements are because our players like Lucic (Only this year), Thomas, Krecji, and Bergeron who put the team on there backs and made shit happen.
Trading Seguin would be stupid, but I've seen PC do some stupider shit before...

Joe wanted too much money, and they'd rather build the team around Bergeron. I was a huge Thornton fan though.

do you remember the team Julien took over?
the team that Dave Lewis coached the year before?
the 1st year Julien got here, he took that team that was predicted by many to finish last in the Eastern Conference to the playoffs and brought the 1 seeded Habs to 7 games.
the 2nd year we led the Eastern Conference in goals....2nd in the NHL
then we lost Kessel and Savard and never really replaced that offensive firepower.
the thought that Claude "cant coach offense" is just factually incorrect.
sure he is a defense-first coach, but the Bruins have been, for the majority, a pretty good offensive team with him as coach.
and its not like we have big time offensive talent...but the 1 year that we did, like i said, 1st in east, 2nd in NHL in goals
im sure if we lost to the Leafs in the 1st round there was a good chance Neely would have fired him and moved on.
beating the Pens in the ECF solidified his job.
theres absolutely 0% chance Neely fires PC and/or Claude and if he does then he should be fired immediately after
