These rankings will probably be null and void as I will be retiring when I win the cup with the MANHATTAN RAGE. However, should that not happen, these are my demands and my very preliminary rankings.

Three Most Important Factors:

1. Most important, you need to be a contender. Teams that did well this past season will probably be a bit higher on the list. But when the time comes, a GM can make a pitch as to why they feel they are contenders. I have been around since season 1, and have never won a cup. I need one to retire.

2. Money to fight regression. I don't want 10 million, a few million should be fine. If necessary I will fight regression with media money I earn and sign a minimum contract. But money will help me stay somewhat competitive.

3. An active locker room. I spend most of my time in the locker. Las Vegas had an incredible locker room and I really miss it. I want a team that can replicate this environment to make my time more enjoyable in the league. I don't have any gripes or grudges with anyone, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Shit I Don't Really Care About:

1. I will gladly play on the 4th line. I will gladly play 3rd pairing defense. Just let me know how I would fit in, and I will do it. I just ask that I play in all 50 games.

2. Multiple year contracts ain't my thang. I will not sign more than a year. Shouldn't be a problem given my age. Any offers for more than one season will be ignored.

3. Management. I don't want to play a role in your organization other than bringing activity to the locker room. I don't really care about the future of your team to put it bluntly. I'm just here to contribute best I can to help a strong team win a cup.

What Can Boost Your Value:

1. James Blaine. I will lean more towards the team that Blaine signs with.

Preliminary Rankings:

I will break this down into 3 tiers. In each tier, they are in no particular order.

Tier 3, the least likely teams I will sign with.

:kings: - Rebuilding. I am actually unable to sign with them due to rulees.

Platoon - Looks like you guys are still in a slight rebuild. A solid pitch that proves you are contenders can bump you up.

Chiefs - I don't really know what's going on with this team ever since the Boon/Munk era was gone. I think you are rebuilding?

Tier 2, teams that will need to prove they will fit all my needs.

Rage - Strong team. Got some good people in the Locker Room, but a couple people who were not very welcoming and seem pretty disrespectful. Keenan is great and will make a great head GM one day. Jmanspenis is awesome. Winter is great too.

Dragons - Slay the Dragons take the throne. I have a rivalry with you guys, and without my S1 rival Jess being there, my incentive to go there is a little lower. Solid team though.

Jets - Leafs4Ever always puts together a great team, but I don't think I'd enjoy it if the locker room isn't too active. It could be now but I know he used to build teams off of solid inactives.

Renegades - They got Gibby. And they got a GM who is willing to make big moves to get shit done. I like that. Not sure if they have an active locker room though and not sure if they have quite what it takes to win the cup. With that being said, Wadey can make moves to put them in that place.

Blizzard - Seems to cliquey in my opinion. They also use chatzy over forums which I can't really do given my schedule, I would prefer locker room. Again, a solid pitch can change that. I think they have a solid team that will make the playoffs next year. Not sure who they are losing in Free Agency though.

Panthers - They did pretty good last year, but not sure if it was a fluke or not. Don't really know who is on the team to be honest, but I am willing to listen.

Wolfpack - Seems like a young team who has finished a rebuild and will only get stronger. I would like to see how their roster looks this off-season.

Tier 1, top teams that I am considering.

Stars - How cool would it be to end my career the same place I started it. Krever and I can win our first cups together which would be awesome.

Steelhawks - They have a great team. I think they have one of the best GM's. Also, Blaine has a good chance of re-signing there. I had a short stint there and besides Toronto, Manhattan and the Las Vegas chain, I have never played anywhere else.

I will update this in a few weeks. I imagine some of the Tier 2 teams will sneak into the first tier by the time the off-season rolls around. I just need to do a bit more research and check out who is testing Free Agency, retiring, etc.

*Obviously do not tamper, but feel free to point out any incorrect statements I have made or list some active members on your team.

-----------------------------------------------

Updated Rankings:

TIER 3 (will not sign with)

N/A - LVK
N/A - WKP
N/A - MIN
N/A - MAN
-------------
TIER 2: (possibility of signing with given a solid pitch)

CGY
LAP
EDM
WPG
-------------

TIER 1:

t2. TEX - Want to see who they sign in Free Agency.
t2. TOR - Ditto.
t2. HAM - Ditto.
1. NEW - Like the direction of the team, contender. Like Ace's pitch the best.[/b]

NEWEST RANKINGS:

Down to these 4 teams. Very undecided still so I may use a random generator to figure it out, still got some time left to see how things pan out.

I know I'm not the player I used to be skill wise, but feel I am active to help teams in other ways. Plus I'm very versatile and want to win.

Updated rankings as of today:

15% chance I sign with Toronto - May not be on the pro team the entire year. LR may not be as active as others, although I do like the actives that are there and see it improving immensely.

25% chance I sign with Texas - I think I'd get along well with the people there. I know the LR isn't too active, but with a few new names being there, I can help ignite it. I like Wadey as a GM as he isn't afraid to make moves to win and can rely on that in the stretch.

30% chance I sign with Hamilton - They are signing a bunch of powerhouses and an already dominant team is going to get better. Locker Room seems very, very active. I just don't know if I will play at all. Like I said, I'm okay playing 2 minutes a game, as long as I get to suit up. We'll see if they can guarantee this without jeopardizing their chances at winning. Plus Blaine is there.

30% chance I sign with New England - LR seems like its pretty active. Good team. Young team. I'm from Massachusetts. Ace had a really good pitch and seems like they want my presence the most.

Blizzard LR has been more active now that we traded for Fourfour for the backup goalie..

IM ON LA

Ilike

Our LR has gotten more active, though we do like chatzy a lot. Or at least, I personally prefer chatzy it seems. FourFour and I have gotten to be very active in there. Also, LA has Wasty, Velevra, and Kylrad on it. I also don't think Minnesota is rebuilding exactly, but I'm not sure what they'll be doing there after this kind of a season. I also found it funny with the Hamilton part, aside from about 1/3 of the league, never played anywhere else. lol

I played 1.5 seasons in TOR, .5 in HAM, and .5 in MAN.

Was a weird statement and not really sure what I was getting at lol.

These days I wouldn't really say we use chatzy more than the forum. It was definitely once the case but I think its more or less evened out recently.

Nice to see we're a team you're interested in though. Best of luck with your decision!

IIRC, the rule that says you can't come back no longer exists. As long as you and I didn't discuss it beforehand [which we didn't].

- Munk - 08-21-2013

Come back to Toronto, so you can say you played with both Dar's.

Pretty sure the rule is still in place for Trade and Sign, but not for trades and trade backs. I know Andersson was traded away from Hamilton when he was inactive and then told he couldn't re-sign in Hamilton last offseason because of the rule.
