- LVShark - 09-04-2013 Free agency is set to start tomorrow, and James Blaine is one of this seasons most talented available players. James was traded from Las Vegas to Hamilton a couple games into the season. James had approached GM Christoph Klose and told him that he would more then likely be testing the market at the end of the season, and that if he wanted, he would be willing to move to help the Kings out. After a long season, the time has finally come for James to make his decision. A reporter for TSN recently caught up with James about his final Free Agency rankings. "I have my top three teams where I would like to end up. After those 3, I would say that the rest of the teams are equal. I have not made a definite decision, because I have no clue what to expect come tomorrow at noon. I know roughly what I would like for years and money wise, but something that could really sway my decision was if I got the chance to be a Co-GM somewhere." My top 3 teams are Hamilton, Winnipeg, and New England. Before I had Winnipeg and New England out of the top 3, but after some offseason moves, these teams have both been bumped up in my list. After Manhattan's firesale, they dropped out, mainly because the people I wanted to play with are all going elsewhere. Winnipeg moves up a lot because I believe they have a good team, and also drafted Kevin Marleau which I have some ties to. New England moved up a lot mainly because they traded away Smirinov and acquired Jordan Nugent-Hall. JNH is a great player, and I have a lot of respect for him. As I listed before there were 3 teams I wouldn't sign with, I changed my mind, and am open to signing with any of them if they approach me with the right offer. As I have said before though, winning will be a key factor in my decision. I would like to win a championship, and I am going to look for a team that gives me a good shot at doing so." There's a couple people that I would really like to play with on other teams as well, which is why i'm waiting to see if their teams make offers. Pretty much each team has a member or two I really like, but some also have a member or two I can't stand, so its kinda give and take a little bit - JNH - 09-04-2013 I'm excited for FA!!!!! ![]() - Wallflower - 09-04-2013 Quote:Originally posted by LVShark@Sep 4 2013, 06:56 PMyou dont like me, its OK :( - Jaymay - 09-05-2013 ![]() Come to me Blaine. - Gibby the Red Nosed Reindeer - 09-05-2013 Wow Blaine, I thought we were friends?
